I thought this was SOOOO cool and nice of the wife to let me do this that I thought I would share it with all of you... I did NOT want to leave the X1 in the garage by herself ... due to a trip I was taking.... So.. she let her spend the night inside. Matt.

I don't feel too bad leaving my bike in the garage ... it's heated in winter, and air conditioned in summer ... (bottom line - my wife would probably let me but wouldn't be very happy about it- which means it's unlikely I'd try - BUT she does park her car in the driveway and not the garage because of the bikes) |

We've considered it when hurricanes are coming! The barn where the bikes are kept is surrounded by 100+ foot pine trees. So if push came to shove, we'd put one in the laundry room and one in the foyer. |

Hotel rooms will fit a bike inside - that's why they give you a free local paper, isn't it? Keeps the road grunge off the floor. You know, an automatic dishwasher is an AWESOME parts washer too! |

Yeah well I'm single, and have been giving serious consideration to building a ramp up my front steps so I can just drive the thing right through the door and park in the living room next to my computer...my two favs in the same place...heaven. either that or I'll just move the PC to the garage and sit there evenings wondering why I'm paying taxes on the rest of the place.} |

We have off white rugs Good thing we don't. Last time they were mounting and balancing tires, a skid mark ended up on my living room floor! I don't miss carpet! |

I wonder if my HUSBAND would let me do that?? But no, there's not enough room in the kitchen..... or living room. There is enough room in the bedroom, right next to my side of the bed |

Last time they were mounting and balancing tires, a skid mark ended up on my living room floor! I don't miss carpet! I thought that y'all had a "shed"? Its a special spouse that will allow you to put your bike in HER house. Me I dont count Im single Installing The dash that Aaomy made for me, at the "Cave"

I thought that y'all had a "shed"? We do, but it's full and they decided to balance in the house to assure a "flat" surface to put the balancer on. Of course, convincing my 3 year old that it wasn't a toy was another story! |

Ha ha, I like to consider myself a gearhead in most senses, but I don't get it...unless it involves the refrigerator, bed, bathroom or TV, why would I be in the house anyway...and I'm working on at least 2 of those for the garage as it is...I can sleep in the car already. Carpets are for more feminine tastes...or oil pads...ha ha. |

I actually rebuilt an old dirtbike in the kitchen of my girlfriend (now wife) one winter. I think it may have led me to my decision to marry her. Thankfully, we now have a heated three-car garage with a shiney painted floor, so we can just use our kitchen for cooking. -roadrash1 |

"I wonder if my HUSBAND would let me do that??" I would let my wife do that!! I may even surprise her with an M2 spread out all over the utility room this winter. I got her a bike so she would shut up about a horse. Maybe if she got to have a bike in the house, she'd shut up about that cat thing. Rotzaruck!!! |
