Dave never made it, rained all day in waterloo so he never left.

I saw that blown V-max last year, its pretty cool with all the work he had done to get that thing to fit in there.

WRX Power!

Too bad it wasn't as nice as Saturday. Maybe the next time I go up there I'll take the car?

I agree Kevin, the beemer was the only bike big enough in the parking lot to hold back the crowd.

BrentX1,
Dyna's right, it rained all day here in good ole Waterloo. Didn't look like it would be much fun riding in rain and 30-40 MPH winds. Glad you guys had a good time. The radar showed rain all the way to Milwaukee but I guess it was wrong? We did get in about a 50 mile ride in the rain though.
Hey,
Where were you for BattleTrax? Thought you were coming?

Ride to the edge!
Dave

Brent,

I know you guys aren't headed down to the dragon for awhile but you might want to keep checking the road conditions down there. I got these images off www.tailofthedragon.com
129
this image is from just south of the dragon.
28
this image is from right next to where we camped lastyear and I am assuming that you are camping this year.

No need for alarm, I am sure they will have it all cleaned up by June. Just thought you might want to keep an eye on it.

Keith

p.s. The camping spot you picked out is great! I have stayed there 2 years in a row. wish I could make the trip with you guys, I just am not going to be able to fit it into my schedule this year.

Thanks Keith, too bad you can't join us. I'm calling Fontana tonight to see if camping is still an option.

Hello I have a phone that I do not need anymore and decided that maybe it would fine good hands at the BBs here.It is a Motorola T720 CDMA 1x AGPS.Total time spent on it is 22.13.45.New condition with home charger and mobile charger and
full leather case. Its platiumn color case I think.I had to send in the sticker on the orignal box for rebate so thats all that different from bying it at a store. You will not be able to get the rebate.Motorola has a number you can call about this phone.1-800-331.6456.I haven,t decided a price as yet but it will be somewhere around very reasonable. Thanks and post here if its ok.George Vwolf

Brent,

I will take pictures at the May 18 Starved Rock Brunch Chapter Run. I can't guarantee they will be digital, though.

Aside from posting here, do you have any other ideas on how to get the message out to the members about the Starved Rock chapter Run?

Curt

To all:

Just a reminder......the Windy City Chapter Starved Rock Brunch Run is scheduled for this Sunday, May 18. Meet at IL-HD @ 8:00AM, plan on departing at 8:30AM (sharp). Brunch reservations are at 12 noon. Weather forecast (for now) is dry, partly cloudy, lower 70's temperature. Sounds good to me...please get the word out.

1. Post here if you plan on attending so we know what to expect and don't abandon you. If that doesn't work, call my voice mail 708 349-5445 anytime and leave message. I also always carry my mobile 708 373-5445, but it doesn't have voice mail.

2. Route has been mapped out. I'll post written (and maybe map) route and time schedule here later this week. Maps will also be handed out at start of run on Sunday. Got some good curves planned, as obtained from a few Ducati, Aprilia and GXR-750 riders who frequent the area. Something for everybody.

3. I know it may be a real pain in the ass for everyone to meet at IL-HD if you live far away. If you have problems with the locations or schedule, but still want to tag up at some point, post here or contact me directly. We have time to work other and/or multiple plans out and would love to have as many people join as possible.

Kirk,

I got my "HI-VIZ" Darien a couple of years ago after Bomber picked on me about my old leather jacket. And I quote: "I haven't seen a BROWN leather jacket since..."

It was a traumatic experience...I almost got out of cycling altogether. I still require counselling over that one. Actually, I like the Hi Viz. The copppers spot me a mile away and figure this guy's too old to be going fast.

Curt, I won't be able to make the S.R. run this year. Hope youse have a good ride.
