Richie, (settle down, beavis) I found this in the knowledge vault.... "If you had a pre-2001 Showa shock installed under recall and it leaks within one year of that time, the goodwill policy is that the fee is waived and you will receive a 2001 shock Free of charge. If the recall shock is more than one year old, you will be charged $100 for the 2001 shock kit." Either way, go with the Buell shock...its gonna be the cheapest route, man. Besides (HEEHEE) ...riding at 60 mph (and 30 around corners) doesn't require a high zoot shock, like a Penske, or Ohlins  I wouldn't mind meeting Racerboy and the rest of the slobbers...we better start a lil earlier than noon (*sigh*) Let's do it.  | ||

OK this is the plan. Meet at Perkins at 9am for breakfast and leave by 10am. We will go out 50hwy to California mo. We will meet up with the SLAB group about 12:30. Trip is about 139 miles one way and time to get there is 2hrs and 15min. Meeting place is Perkins at no later than 10AM.,291 hwy and 50 hwy. Any other Buellers are welcome and none Buellers. Depending on road conditions and time we'll maybe ride some. They did get snow in this area. Bill | ||
