Nope, TJ doesn't have his bike yet. Too many irons in the fire I'm afraid. Does anyone have any suggestions for an 8 year old who may be a little small but has the right attitude? Kimberlie, Speaking of tires, I just picked up a new set of Michelin Pilots (it helps to work for the company, though I can't be caught dead on anything else). I have no complaints, they work awesome and the price was exactly right! Loni, Hope you feel better quickly. See you at SPLASH. The weather has been so good the last couple of days, I probably can't wait for March like planned. I'm gonna get the bike to DEELEY'S HOUSE OF BUELL this week and get those buns put on. Harv |

I have really missed some good stuff here! Lo and Kim your the best! OK so we need to nail down at least a month to do the girls ride. May is open for me except the 3 day holiday weekend. June is kinda open, we have a schedualed weeks vacation the 16-20. July and Aug are not good, Sept may be good. Shit who knows I may have to follow in the car! But I will be there! Loni |

You Canucks ! I'm Soooooooooo Jealous.... Why is it that you just don't get as much snow as the Northeastern USA ? YES... I was one of the *lucky* 10 million+ peeps who got Snow Dumped! ~@$&%*#!! F'n SNOW, (always been a Four letter word-S*N*O*W !). Took me two days to dig out, luckily monday was a Holiday(Presidents day), but hell- everything was still closed and shut yesterday ! So this is my first day back ! FYI, I don't own my own PC, I'm only able to post from the not-so local library. I'm moving in a few years to the rainy Pacific Northwest Coast(thats why I'm on this board). Rain sucks... but not half as much as Frickin' SNOW! (We have Road salt that equals the Bonneville Salt Flats, road cinders are a thing of the past- they now just use crushed gravel, ice, cold, grey skies, ARGH !...I'm a Celebrity- Get me outta here !!!!) P.S.- ok I'm not a celebrity, but that advert for that NEW REALITY TV show was ringing in my head . But Please save me before the snow starts Drifting !.......H~E~L~P :-0 |

I figure this little corner of the Badweb site is so out of the way, nobody that knows me will see this post.(HEY I'm a Blast-oholic forever, but I'm curious.) Ahem... This is a Question for all you *NEW* Triumph owners, mainly the Triples. How do you like your bikes? I mean, yeah sure they are sweet handling and more powerful than a Buell. But how have they been reliability-wise ? Are there any major flaws in the machine? Re-occuring problems? I like the looks and that they are Brit bikes not Jap. But I haven't had ANY 1st hand experience or know anyone who has one. But I read where a couple of you guys got them. So-- Shsssssh, whisper softly. Tell me all about them, the good the bad and the ugly? *thanks* |

Blasto, You've been found out! Blake will be up to visit you shortly. Be afraid. Triumphs are good. No particular problems. A valve adjustment every year, oil the chain now and then. Hey, nothings perfect. You might want to check out the T595.net BBS |

I think about twelve of us have them at last count. I have a 97 T-595 Daytona and I love it. It's everything my S-3 was and much, much more. The big difference is I have much more confidence in the reliability factor then I had with my Buell. Hope this helps. As Ray said, check out the T595 board. Like this board, there are people with and without problem bikes. Over all, I get the impression that most have had experiences like my own. Happy on the Dark Side.... |

Naw not really, The Buell kept blowing fuses, I never did figure out the cause. The Daytona simply had a fuel line come loose in the tank. Not visible without a lot of snooping. The good thing is I got the info about the possible cause from the T595 board. I knew when it happened it wasn't anything serious, and it wasn't. Jealous? |

The Shark Club. Are advance tickets required? Available? Cheaper? From Stu? When are you going to be there, Harve? I guess earliest gets the best seats, right? |
