The other fuel mileage thread got me thinking.. I have a race ECM, k&n on the way.. Currently stock, I get 47-50 mpg. After adding a drummer, filter, race ECM, how much would one expect the mpg to drop if at all? Thanks.. |

mine dropped about 3-4 miles per gallon. Not enough to matter in my opinion. 2005 CityX Ken |

Mine went down when I put on the race ECM, then back up after the PCIII and dyno tune... 2-up at about 90MPH (or so ), 250 miles each way I got about 49-51 with a Drummer, Race ECM, PCIII w/ Map, K&N, chopped airbox. |

Excellent, that's what I thought... I figured you're adding both air and fuel so it balances out... as long as its tuned with a TPS reset, I was hoping to hear it wouldn't drop much. thanks for the responses. I to have a 05 CityX... down for winter mods! Ok, wait... I guess spring mods.. DOH! I have to get this thing running. |
