Sorry guys. not trying to avoid the subject at all. yes the charter has been sent and we should be getting our certificate hear pretty soon. Alot has been going on here for the christmas holidays and we've had a few events that are taking up alot of time. I apologize to everyone for the delay. ANyone up for a ride this next SUN? I just realized that tomorrow is Thursday, not Wednesday like I thought last night. Unfortunately it looks like I have to work, at least for a few hours. Sometimes being a contractor is a good thing, sometimes (like when running headfirst into a deadline) it sucks with both hands  I'll know more in a couple of hours I hope. | ||

The weather guys say it's going to be a decent day tomorrow and Friday, then crappy Saturday, and decent again Sunday. I ride about 500 miles a week to and from work, around town, etc. Guess I'm just too fast for ya Ross, I'm up for a ride Sunday if my schedule stays like it is now. I'm not much of a morning person, though, so I likely won't be alive and ready to go anywhere until about noon. While I'm thinking about it, how's y'all's stock of Buell parts? I'm needing a new shifter and muffler, and maybe cams and heads, in the near future. I may just break down and machine a new roller bearing supported shifter myself, but that takes work The muffler, however, has to be other than stock and I ain't making it myself... unless I really have to. | ||

White95S2, I have a brand spanking new SuperTrapp IDS (Buell race slip on) if you're interested. I'm not sure that it will fit an S2, anybody know? I'd let it go for way below MSRP to a fellow Badwebber. I work in The Woodlands, so I wouldn't even have to ship it. Archer, As of right now, my rear shock is still shot, so as far as Sunday goes, I'm out. Catch me in a week or two. Jeff | ||

My stock of buell parts is pretty good. If you let me know a little bit ahead of time I can make sure I have it here. I've been trying to get essentials. I will look up the ones that you mentioned and let you know. Girders is wanting to ride with us this SUN as well. We'll see what the weather does. Hootowl, Assuming the can is for your bike, it won't fit. S2 exhausts have the bend right before the can built into the header, not the muffler, and the collector is a bit smaller on the S2. I've adapted much more complicated setups before, but to put a muffler with a larger inlet on a smaller collector I'd have to either expand the collector (not easy with stainless), shrink the muffler inlet (also not easy), or turn a steel bushing on the lathe (which is an option). Whatcha want for it? Ross, She Who Must Be Obeyed said I can come out and play Sunday, but I have to be back by 4 so we can go to her father's house, whom I would rather not see, but that's another story. As for parts, I need either 49074-01Y or 49092-01Y, depending on which is right for an S2. I'll just have to get creative with the lathe so I can put a roller bearing in there. Might also need a set of cams and, if the horsepower gods are in a good mood, a pair of Thunderstorm heads. | ||

I may be able to ride on sunday but it all depends on when my son decides to come out of hiding. Due date was Tuesday but tonights a full moon so we shall see if that gravitational pull thing warrants any merit..  |
