Just wanted to say what a great time we had at our pseudo-meeting last night at Japan 77. The company was good and the food was outstanding, as usual! (We even waited for Bobby and Brent who never showed.) See you all at our next meeting on Aug. 1st, or at Brad & Andi's tomorrow. Nancy |

Well, guys, I need some information. What brake pads should I be using? I ate up a set of EBC greens in < 1,200 miles. Granted, I did 3 days at the gap and a track day @ Road America, but I got 8,500 miles out of a stock set. Shoud I be using the Ferodo's or what? I need something that will last, and I need it fast. Any thoughts? |

Hi everyone. Al here. HEY!!!! Is anyone going up to East Troy August 3rd for the Buell Open House? Alex and I are going, staying overnight Friday night. I want to see the XB9S up close. I agree with Kirk, don't know what to think about the new Lightning. More details to follow. Keep the rubber side down. Al |

Hey all...the Brew City gang is meeting at the factory on Saturday morning. Being a sucker for free stuff (not to mention I'm only 1/2 hour from factory), I'll be there early for my free commemorative pin. We're also planning an afternoon ride through the Kettle Moraine . On Sunday, there is a group planning on riding to the Formula USA races at Road America. I'll post more about departure times and route. |

Tours run from 8:00am - 1:00pm. There will be a Q&A time with Erik from 10:00am-11:00am. Then Erik will draw the winning ticket for the new XB9R. I guess I'll be getting up early that day. |

Dennis, how does one go about entering the drawing for the XB9S, in particular if I can't make the open house in East Troy this weekend? |

The tickets are $10 ea or $50 for six. There will be a max of 2500 tickets sold. The money is for the women's breast cancer something-or-another. You can send your check to: Chris Weber Buell Motorcycle Company 2815 Buell Dr. East Troy, WI 53120 Factory phone number: 262-642-2020 My check is on it's way so don't bother trying to win. They will also sell any remaining tickets on the day of the event. See ya at the factory!!! |

Definately will be at the factory myself. Only about a 40 minute ride so no big deal. Besides I hope to be able to see the new bike. |
