I replaced the original Dunlop 207s on my XB9S at 2500 miles. They were completely shot, threads showing in the center. Now I have just over 4000 miles on my Michelin Pilot Powers, and there is still a little bit of mileage left, not much and I will replace them this week, I just waited to " use up the sides" at a track day.
In addition to the great increase in mileage, I felt that the tires steered much better than the Dunlops, having a rounder section, they seem to turn into the corners much easier. In addition, they stick like glue, even on cold roads, and on the track. Highly recommended. This is what they look like after 4150 miles and one track day.
