Anyone here know how to remove the headlight on a 2002 X-1? I took out the two screws that hold it to the bracket, figureing that the bulb would screw out the back.. nope just wires going into the houseing.... there is a little screw on the front of the light, but that has been loose since day 1..... HELP ME OUT PEOPLE!!! |

If it is the same as my M2 you just un-screw all the screws around the black plastic housing, that comes off. Then the bulb will be in there under a clip. I hope you are taking it off to add a high intensity bulb from American Sport Bike, I did that last week and should have done it right when I brought the bike home, huge difference. |

Remove the screw, stick a flat screwdriver between the ring and the housing, at the bottom, twist. The ring and light will pop out, catch it. Mark |
