Apparently the closest pads were in San Diego! Can't believe that they can't find a set of plates in the half-dozen shops within an hour's drive of Quaid. But that's just me on the outside, looking in. | ||

They were looking for an OEM narrow plate yesterday, so I suspect they had most of the plates, not sure. We don't stock OEM plates or individual plates at all, we only stock the Barnett kits. They called after UPS had picked up on the day about getting the Barnett kit, so we couldn't get one out yesterday to them to arrive there today. Not sure where it's at now, they were going to check to see if PU had one in stock in the CA warehouse that's just down the road from them, but PU doesn't stock the Barnett Buell Kit. I haven't heard back from Char today, so hopefully that means that they scored something. Char, if there is something that we can do from here, let us know. Al | ||

So... due to the HD shenanigans... Danielle and I met Al in Temecula... and rode the parts up to Loma Linda... after a good half day on the back of Beowouf... D's Beemer... I am most impressed with her piloting abilities... and underimpressed w ATT navigator... that does not know a dirt/dust road from pavement... will get the resurected Piglet tomorrow to meet up w Al and co in Ocotilo... | ||
