Thunder...I cant't tell you how much we all appreciated you giving up a great day of riding with Ferris and the entire group, just to cook all of us some serious grub.
Ferris, Alex, Racerboy, it was indeed awesome to get to meet and ride with you guy's....I hate to use Ferris's word but EPIC is the only word to describe Monday....
Everybody else needs to do whatever it takes to meet up with these guys on this ride...If you don't you'll be kickin' yourselves wonderin' what if...
Thanks for lettin' the KC guys be a part of the journey.

I went to this BBQ last night and this guy here wouldn't eat or drink anything without taking a picture of it first.  I think he needs to get out a little more often. LOl

Glad to see you made it back safely.
I'm looking forward to seeing the "gang" tomorrow around noon. I'm packed and ready to go. I guess you could say, the New Mexico "group" is ready to head that way, LOL. Me, myself, and I. All 3 of us on the S2, ha ha ha.
I imagine there may not be any pics tonight since Jerry is picking up Denise from the airport. You guys need to give the guy a break and let him spend some time with his sweety.

not daylight under that tire at all...it's called a refracted shadow, something to do with the humidity, very prevalent this neck of the woods.

Sorta like that shimmering thing you get from the heat... There was some crazy refracting/shimmering going on over a particular bridge in Waterloo with a Firebolt. Must have been something in the water |

Just got off the phone with Ferris, he's in Montrose, CO and doing fine. They've another 60 miles or so to cover tonight and were stopped for gas and to scrape the bugs off of the face shields. They met up with the rest of the clan and found them safe and sound. I'm sure we'll hear something from him soon. (refresh, refresh, refresh...)

Just got off the phone with ferris, he's at the hotel, and looking for beer!
Myself, Tbear, Ferris, and Denise.
here's a shot of the gang in Florence, Colorado this afternoon. I couldn't continue on due to issues with the S2 once again. 
So basically I rode 962 miles today just to shoot the breeze with Ferris, Denise, and Tbear. |
