You've been asking for this bike for some time now. I found this for you on a Euro site:

Here's a link:
Carclassic.com

They also have some VERY cool cars and bikes. You can even buy a used Formula 1 race car (if you have some DEEP pockets)

Nice site! Will be visiting it frequently. Note: The other model available was a tad cleaner. LOL

Still, this is an actual dirt track racer and I am looking for a StreetTracker (street legal model) for Styling, Profiling and some country thrills. Can get one out in CA and a perhaps a few other domestic locations.

Bartell's even had a conversion kit for Sportsters at one time (cafe racer kit too) but I haven't seen it on their website lately. Would like to do something like that with my X1 motor in it. That is if I can't buy a ready made model with a V-Rod engine or some other monster motor.

Would like to give HD the business but alas, first come first sold.

stortz markets the flat tracker and 60's style road race kits. i really like the road race setup.

I suspect that this is actually street legal, just made to look more race, i have yet to see a dirt tracker with a front brake, i bet there is a small headlight and tail light tucked some where

Used to see both style's up at the Rock Store all the time. Great looking conversions. That Cafe racer is really a hot number.

Gee, looks like now all I need to do is trade the Buell for a souped up Sportster. Yeah, like that is going to happen. The conversions won't work with an X1 frame and I don't want to give up the X1's performance.

FYI, it is Storz, not Stortz. Had a major brain fart with my search engine until I remembered that. LMAO

Rog...the site Dennis referred to lists two real XR's which are track only. You know, magnetos, no lights, no smog, etc

The Storz Kits cosmetically change a Sporty and provides for some handling mods. Looks great, but nothing to write home about in the performance department as the engines are not up to Buell standards. Big difference between a Buell and a Sporty spec engine.

NRHS used to sell street trackers, 120 RWHP and 350 LBs makes for a scary fun ride. I'd opt for the front brake though. : )

sorry about misspelling storz. been a while since i drooled over their catalog! i was looking to buy a used 5 speed sportster and build a killer motor and use the roadrace kit. total was around 12,000 dollars or more. stopped by the h-d-buell dealer and was talking it up with a salesman when he said "we have some buell m-2's for 8,000 bucks". i would still like the roadrace looking setup but i have not regretted buying my cyclone at all.

Hey...Life has a whole new meaning. Well, at least for my X1. Jens just posted a website for Hillbilly Motors and look what I found in their project file...

I know I could live with this bike for a long long time!!!

Mike...Nice Pic. Remember when those bikes did everything from the mile to scrambles to hillclimbs. Now that was "Multi-Purpose."

If I'm not mistaken, the bike in the background of Mike's pic is a H-D Sprint (Aermacchi). Never saw one in a dirt-track config...

Hmmm...didn't Harley sell the Sprint in a Scrambler version as well?

Can anyone confirm that with a "coffee table book" or something?
