this ain't over yet - Dave's been away for awhile (off selling a coupla more bikes so as to afford a higher bid?)

i like the idea of exactly 24 hours (NOT 24 hours and a minute...) from the first bid - we'll see soon enough who the Biggest Dog is.

lest i forget, thank you all so far for bidding, and for making this fun. : )

Henrik, i haven't found THE brochure, but i've got one i think you'll want. pix in a bit...

Did you rob a dealership or something? That stuff is cool as hell!
Thanks a ton, again.

>>>>I just pried $110 outta Bomber for the Cancer Society!

That's an in accurate statement.

: )

For Ferris and I have conspired and found a 2nd copy. Assuming my Lake-Looking Co-Bueller concurs, I'm calling this one (as I am headed for the airport) closed with Bomber in at $110 and you at $100. Like the fellow barking on the midway professed...."everyone's a winner!"

Congratulations to both of you for, with a touch of light heartedness and compassion, tossing a total of $210 into the pot for the American Cancer Society.

And....$75 it is.

the COLOR WHEEL IS SOLD!

You folks are great.

Court

Simond, THANK YOU!

ok, so the clock is now officially ticking on Lot 5, and...it looks like Henrik's got a riding partner on Lot 6. : )

Bomber and Road Thing, i've actually learned a few things over the years, one of which is to learn from The Master whenever possible.

so...thank you both for your successful bids and generous contributions on behalf of the American Cancer Society!!!

paper funds should be sent to:

Ride Across North America
20 Timber Lane
Hanover, PA 17331

also, Alex has a paypal account set up at awprior@yahoo.com.

please note "BADWEB Auction Contribution" in any correspondence.

Court, thanks, as always, for tucking this young Jedi pup up under your cape and showing how it's done. and, the Color Wheel is yours!

i just pinged Pdx about your 8 x 10 photo request above, i imagine he'll come sliding in here shortly. Denise just about piddled when she clicked on your link this morning, and i'm sure Corso's gonna have some fun with this, as well...

Jer -- funds on the way tomorrow (gotta cash in my normally reserved for Buell expenditures change coffee can . . . . . .good thing it's almost full ;-} )

Thang -- crazy like a fox! {grin}

now all I gotta do is find the next three issues of BTwin (all they hads were xerox copies when I learnd of the publication), although I"m not sure another 3 large will be forthcoming (no doubt as to the worthiness!)

Thanks, again, Mr Haughton, for running this circus (and I'd hush up about the color wheel -- could be that Court will continue to out bid himself for a few more days)

RT,
Your original bid of $51.50 is the police code for a crazy person...I'm surprised there aren't any Van Halen fans out there who could have picked up on that.

STOP IT FERRIS! STOP IT RIGHT NOW! (ps, I'll be sending a lil extry for a patch) -- as for bidding healthy and often, hell, I'm a chicagoan, I was only bidding like I vote!

Hoot -- I've found it best not to point out insanity to crazy persons (specially Texans). ya never know when they might go to a drive through liquor store with their firearms locked and loaded, ya know?

Bomber: You'll have to speak up, sir, my ears are ringing. I've been shopping...

Hoot: I didn't know about the crazy code thing, but I'll have to remember it. Great idea for a vanity plate!

FB: Funds have already been transmogrified into electrons and transmitted through the ether via Paypal.

alright, this completes the series for Battle 2win's first year of production. this would be LOT 10. there's a VERY slight wrinkle on the cover across the "2", other than that the mag is mint. dig the centerfold!

who wants it??? : )
