I was just looking at the updated "Rider Assistance Network" thread that Tripper has posted. It looks like several of you fine folks must have forgot to get on the list of riders willing to help out fellow riders in need. Maybe you should see if your name is on the list. If not, perhaps you should think about getting on it. There's few things worst than breaking down on the road and no one to help, when your far away from home. | ||

You have to log in to have the RAN link displayed. Just go in and update your profile will log you in (This would be a good time to insert a picture of YOU and your bike. It's always nice to know what people look like when you are at Buell events.) Hit the back to 'topics' and you should see the RAN | ||

Found it...I was logged in, it took a logout/in to get it to display. And I do have a picture of me in my profile...along with our gay friend, Jim, taken at Milan Dragway just before his dereby cover shot off (made a solid six feet before it hit the ground, too...) | ||

You have to be logged in. Go to Edit Profile and login. Then go to Main Topics. It will be right under Storm Fronts. I never noticed it before either. I usually just put in my Username and Password when I post something. Hmmm, it looks like I still have to put in my username and password to post even though I am now logged in.  | ||

Well thanx to V2WIN pointing out that the RAN was hiding unused, I added about 30 new assisting hands today. But I do wonder, has the RAN list ever been utilized by anyone? In 5 years of reading the BadWeb I have never heard of a "save" by the list. Post here if you have a story involving a member of the network. |
