Well, I've posted bike week pics for another year. Please pardon my lack of bandwidth...hope to get more soon.

Of particular interest was the distinct lack of XB Buells. Pretty much all tubers this year, which is just the opposite of last year, weird.

This is the first year since the AMA left Loudon that I've attended a race. What a let down. The Loudon Classic is but a faint shadow of what it was. Truly sad.

You must not have seen the 2 XB's that we rode down from Canada. In fact we ran into fellow Badwebber SpiderXB at the hillclimbs in Gunstock.

BTW that was my 5th and last trip to Bike Week at Laconia. I've seen enough t-shirt vendors and Hells Angels to last a lifetime. Next time I go to New Hampshire it will be just for the riding. There are no bad roads there.

Hey Greg, Kids every other weekend starting with having them next weekend.

Not saying that you have to plan accordingly, but that is when I can ride.

Was on my way up on wednesday. Made it funspot, decided didnt feel like sitting in all the traffic. Turned around and went for a long ride instead. Only live 1/2 hour away but just wasnt worth the wait to me. Have enough tees.

I saw several xb's. Not including Buellinator and crew. Hey how did u guys do the rest of the trip? I wished I had asked to ride with you guys. The two people I met up there just wanted to get a shirt also and not enjoy the event as it was.

Hey Spdrxb,
We went up Wolfboro for lunch and then we went off to find some twisties. And boy did we find some! I don't remember them all but I think Hwy132 was one of the best. We had a few hours of really fun riding before we ended up back at our B&B in Franklin.
You should have joined us. It was a blast!

I wish I had. Friend from work and his girlfriend is who I met. He wasn't happy either all we ended up doing was waiting in traffic and showing her the T shirt selection HA HA. Would have rather been riding around anywhere exept " "The Weirs".OH well next time your here there are plenty of us NH guys to ride with if you need some direction.

Did I see one of you guys on a black Uly on Bear Notch road just off the Kancamagus Hwy? Was Friday 6/19. Rode to Mt. Washington, but road was closed

It wasn't us. We rode the Kancamagus on Tuesday (both ways), and scared a few little old ladies on Harleys I might add.

We just got ASRA back for the Classic. I am glad that you were there to show your support. I am sorry that you were disappointed.

I am sorry that you were disappointed.

You've got nothing to be sorry for, and we certainly weren't disappointed with the racing. The racing was good, and we had fun watching it. It just was such a grand sight to pull in and see the front parking lot packed full of spectators bikes on a Saturday, (never mind that the big race is on Sunday) with all the vendors and sponsors selling their wares and the big factory teams giving out autographs, posters and more. Hell, that's where I got my Cyclone autographed by Erik.

Now it's more like going to a LRRS race, nothing wrong with it, it just lacks the grandeur that we had with the AMA racing.

Racing is racing, and good racing will always be good racing. But sometimes we pay the money to go to the race for more than just the race itself, that's all.

The ASRA guys are really on a shoestring budget as far as professional racing goes. Not much in the way of high paying sponsors from outside of the industry.
