So here is my question.... how do you make a word a HOT LINK to a website or video? Say I was typing something about COBRA and wanted people to be able to click on the word COBRA and go to the Central Ohio Buell Riders Association website..... How do I do that? | ||

"Say I was typing something about COBRA and wanted people to be able to click on the word COBRA and go to the Central Ohio Buell Riders Association website..... How do I do that?" copy the URL you want the link to go to, then start typing a new post here and click the "create a hyperlink" button above where you're typing your post. After clicking the button, paste the URL into the popup window and press "OK" The code that is placed into your post will have two copies of the URL you pasted. The first copy is where the clickable text will hotlink to, and the second is the text that will actually appear as the hotlink. The second batch of text doesn't have to be a URL, just make sure that you don't modify the first URL in the code as far as the comma. After the comma that separates the two identical URL's you can change whatever you wish. (well, as long as you leave the { and } there to complete the code. Hope this helps! | ||
