What the heck happened in Florida? 21 horses suddenly die just before a major polo match. Too sad. We gotta take better care of the animals. Gonna go pet my dogs for a while. |

latest word from the vet is that it was a combination of things they were given (food, supplements, etc.) that had an unforeseen chemical reaction with each other and produced a toxic compound that have them heart attacks. I have no idea if this came from the toxicology report, or if they're still guessing at this point. I hope no one (like a competitor) poisoned them. |
