I have spoken to the new owners of the Suches General Store. They are going to open on Sunday for us and they seemed very receptive to us being there. I didn't get a feeling of any animosity towards bikers. I'm going to Suches next week for some final planning. Will keep you all posted. About Suches General Store- There were a couple of motorcycle "incidents" that were posted at advrider last summer. I think somebody at the store quickly got the message that they were pissing off a big chunk of their customers and that word was getting around FAST. I stopped in several times during Buelltoberfest and they were always friendly and looked like they were glad for my business. There were "slim pickin's" on the shelves, but at least they had gas (for a while). | ||

Yeah I'm hoping all the $#!T weather is gone by the Badness. A weekend like this past one would do nicely! We'll see. In all honesty though, it's rained every Badness. Only most times it's at night, and short lived. | ||

unable to go but i'm also trying to get the wife's blast up to wisconsin through marchbadness. already got a lead to get it up there and just wondering if any one from wisconsin or even chicago area is gonna make it. mike(aka rpm4x4)is not sure at this time whether he can make it yet.and with the wife being up there makes it a better chance for me to go up for homecomming. i will supplement the gas. | ||

Hey youn's- I have to say I'm out for MBVI as well. Was offered a new job yesterday, accepted, and will be training/opening the week of MBVI. Hate to miss it, but at least I know I'll be well-funded for October! I still plan to have my buddy Denny at the Shed serving up some road food, depending on the turnout. I won't be there, but that doesn't mean Smoky Mountain can't help out the Buellers on the go!! Who's passing thru Maryville TN en route to MBVI? On what days? Lemme know and I can better help my guy at the Shed. | ||
