Care to hazard a guess at the time?

It's the Heko model from Tokyoflash.com. I've had people scratching their heads over it all day!

(it's 1:32, BTW)

Time can be shown in binary in several different ways, I haven't figured out the way yours shows it yet, but mine works by the top row being the hours, bottom row is minutes, and just add going left to right.

Quick photoshop

I also got a binary desk clock that can be configured to show the time in sevearal different ways, but because I got the watch first, I have the desk clock set to match it. Now that I think about it, my only non binary clock is the one on my bike! That shall change. : )

Here's the cheat sheet for mine. It's basically like looking at two clock faces, one labeled for hours and the other for minutes. I'm starting to get pretty quick at reading it.

It seems like going from the telephone back to the telegraph.
Why?

By the time you figure out what time it is, so much time has elapsed, that it is no longer the time that it was when you checked the time the first time?

It's like that sig I saw last week, "There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't."

"It seems like going from the telephone back to the telegraph. "

Yeah, leave it to the Japanese to make something unnecessarily complicated!

If you stop and think about it though, it's actually no worse than the standard clock face. The Heko actually has a separate face for dealing with minutes. I doubt many of us can remember far enough back, but I can only imagine how weird it must have been trying to understand why when the big hand points down, it means 30 and not 6.

I cannot understand this texting either.
All that typing, when it's so much easier to have a voice conversation, and more meaningful.
If they don't answer, leave a voice message.

When I got my new phone, they immediately sent me a text message and charged me for it.
I put a stop to that!

I can read my binary watch 99% of the time faster than most people an read an analog clock.

If I want to know what time it is, I ask somebody. If nobody is around, it doesn't matter what time it is.

Not bullshit if you see a kid in highschool these days. One of my friends grew up and only learned how to read digital clocks.

Anyway I can still tell the time at glance no problem. The wrist strap on mine broke a while back, guess that means its time to velcro it to my Uly dash : )

WTF!?

Whats wrong with a "normal" watch?

Who the hell wants to count and add to check the time? I don't get it.

Even blurry I can tell what time it is in analog. You guys probably have digital speedos on your bikes too, and that new fangled fuel injection stuff I've heard about. ; )

I'd post a pic of my watch but this new fangled phone doesn't have java enabled for popups. :-P

Once you get the hang of it there is no addition, I can glance at my watch and see 4:19. Same way when learning an analog clock, you see the hand pointing and are not sure at first what time it is. I assume at this point you can glance and know what time, but then you still got to figure out which hand is where.
