I thought the original challenge was that Cecil, on his ZX12, could beat Blake on his M2 on any track, at any time. Now it sounds like the track and time are more specific, and maybe Cecil won't even be riding the ZX12!

Oh well, reading this stuff helps to pass the winter months.

I have been having the most polite fun with cecil on this than I have ever had with him.

the best comment was...."the zx-12 only weighs 100lbs more than my f4, thats not reall much"

hell 100lbs is 25% of the weight of the bike....good lord when racers fight shave of ounces....whats he think 100lbs is.

oh well...Blake can ya handle the suspense...are ya shaking in your proverbial boots\clipart

{bigwink}

remember he also has 4 track days under his belt!!! the experience is over whelming ain't it.

funny stuff this internet cock fighting thing

Yeah, where did he go?
He never showed up(that I know of) at any of the dates I gave him to come and whip up on me?
Maybe he, unlike Cecil, knew it wasn't going to be all that easy to do.

Hell, I'll race anyone!

Back to the News Groups I reckon.

Man, that sacborg sure is a hostile forum.
Thanks Blake, and all involved for not letting the BadWeB turn into something like that.

Shame on us for talking badmouthing someone behind their back.

I've met and rode with Brian, aka "Cecil". We swapped bikes and had a good time. The real Brian is nothing like the online "Cecil". If I didn't know that, I'd probably not engage him at all.

Scrap,
"Can I ride?"

Dude! You have to ask? Dang schedule is AWOL on the CMRA site or I'd tell you when the first race weekend at OHR is. Middle of February sometime.

Dave,
I can commit to Hallet this year if you are willing. What you say? Mapquest puts your drive at just over 10 hours.

It's only six for me. The CMRA guys really speak highly of the track. It is also a car track, so it's nice and wide. The grip is supposed to be great too. What you say? Skully (Keith) and I will be there if you will. : D

Let me chime in here. I've met Brian a couple of times, NJ, Home Coming etc. - and he really *is* a nice guy. Pretty darn smart too ... go figure : )

Cecil however is a different story ; )

I'd never badmouth that Cecil character. He came up with the classic line, "Taking a Buell to the track is like taking an amphibious car to a yacht race." I still can't help chuckling anytime I think about that. It's funny whether you agree with it or not!

What are the dates for Hallet?
How far will it be for Cecil?

I have met Brian/Cecil in person too. He's not a bad guy, just likes to come off that way on the web for some reason. I do enjoy giving him a bad time though.

Ride to the edge!

I am actually a very conservative, mild mannered, button down type myself. I ride very slowly, never wheelie, like really quiet bikes, usually wear a suit and tie with wingtip shoes, even while riding.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Damn! I'm glad I woke up from that nightmare!

Ride to the edge!
I don't even own a suit or tie!
But I do have 2 sets of leathers.
