Hey Wolf, we could bring a couple of hammocks, and just string them up on the porch!

We will be dry, and guaranteed not to miss breakfast!

I just visited the NOAA radar website for my region- wish I had a boat.

THIS RAIN SUX! ESPECIALLY SINCE IT COMPLETELY COVERS MY DAYS OFF THIS WEEK!

Sun and 65 (+-) ALL DAY on Sunday- exactly until 5pm WHEN I GOT OFF WORK. (!!!)

The riding gods are pissing on me.

Seriously- in the event of more rain on MB-VI we should plan to make the most of it. Standing around listening to Flick and co. last year was OK for about 30 minutes.

What about mudder wars on fiddys? Heck, I might just pack one on the back of my CityX. (Had everything else anyway back in October.)

Anyone have leads on good dirtbiking in the area? Scrabble? I'll bring my book of 50 beerdrinking games.

Of course let's all hope, pray and prepare for good weather, good riding.

Hey 86129squids.. I was just in your neck of the woods. My parents live up thata-way.
They live off of 321 in Wears Valley.

As I was driving through, I thought to myself.. Man it would be nice to live amongst all these nice twisty roads! Huntsville isn't too bad.. we have some good stuff just north of us.
I hear they are planning on opening the other half of the foothills parkway. That looks like it might be fun to ride as well. Part of it goes over the road that goes to my parent's house... WAY up in the air on top of a hill.

Yeppers, Raty- I can leave my house, take the backroads and be approaching the Dragon in about 25 minutes.

And that's not even close to the best of the rest of the roads local.

Gimme a holler next time you'ns is up here with your 2-wheeler. Cruiser or Bueller, I'll be covered by spring. Been looking forward to getting my Shovel back for some time now- real good for laying back and loving the scenery with my sweetie on back.

Won't be too long now, hopefully...

Will do Squids.
Do you work at SMHD?

Next time we come up, we may have to take a stop into SMHD. We pass by it on our way to the P's house.

Nope, out, but I will try and make Buelltoberfest in the fall. Spring is the traditional kick off of bike sales, no way I can get out of the shop and across the country and back while that is happening.

WOOOOOPPPPPEEEE!

I actually rode for about 45mins today, after 2 1/2 days of Biblical rains,- oohh, just as I wrote that it started raining sideways again outside. Spooky. Glad I'm back home.

Suddenly I'm into the whole "nesting" thing today.

Let's keep taking every little opportunity to "PUMP U/ME/US UP" for riding, serious saddle time, and get over this winter of discontent.

I'M READY TO RIDE DAMMIT.

LOOKIN FORWARD TO MB-VI.

Everyone have fun and hopefully we'll see you in October!

Gonna miss ya for sure. Who's gonna truck my extra beer in? Uh wait, I have a damn lead sled this year. I could truck in a keg on the rack n pack on the back of my ST1800.

I am not sure if the "Trailer Trash" project will make it in time for MB, but I will still be there on the ST1800 if all attempts fail with the project completion.

Squids,
You need me to bring anything special for the back 40 campground. I got a lot of space this year on the bike.

For all other BW MB attendees,
I will be leading a few rides weather permitting. I will post them up soon. If you want to ride with me, just don't laugh to hard at the ST1800 and I won't lose ya in the corners.

See ya there.

It's a sad day....
Damn. just damn.

There has been a lot going on since before Thanksgiving.
Too much to list and it'd only make y'all cry.
But, near as I can tell, me and mine are still in.
We have two things a year, that aren't dedicated to everyone else.
MB & BTF

Y'all will be missed, we'll have a cold one for ya, and we're counting on you for BTF!

Ft_bstrd is looking to sell, and then in the future buy a SS when things pick up. I would be all over it if I wasn't converting my bike into a Uly.

I've got a two month keyhole I'm passing through. Things will either be better on the other side or worse on the other side.

I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.

Selling the bike to circle the wagons in case things don't pan out positively. If they work out well, I will be on another Buell before you can blink.

I love the Uly, but in the end it's just a bike.

My current job will either get better or it won't. I have two other job possibilities for which I am applying/discussing. In addition, I am working with a friend of mine to try to get a new business funded and up and running. NONE of these things may work out. ONE of these may work out. SOME of these may work out. ALL of these may work out.

Time will tell. I'll know about all of these over the next two months. I think lots of folks are in the same boat.

I was hoping I could make it down, but it 'aint gonna happen. Unless I get some heavy overtime in when I finally go back to work on the 19th, which is highly unlikely. I'll see you guys in October, hopefully with my wife and 22 yr son. My S10 really screwed me good this time. Crap happens, then it will happen again. I know you all will have a great time, but please, ride safe.

You're very sweet to say that, but Badness went on long before us and will go on without us this year. I know you all are really just worried about your beer supply-LOL!

We will miss everyone. Post lots of pictures!

Right now its very much up in the air, ill let you know by sunday kristi.

My work has slowed down significantly. I have a job that will take me through march, but after that i have nothing lined up and it completely sucks. I have stuff out there that i might get, but i might not with this economy.

So im really debating on whether i am going or not.

Allow me to be optimistic, since I'm way ahead of y'all.
The first of last year was when everything fell apart for us, and trust me the end of the year was even worse.
But while all that was going on, I was able to keep afloat using the digital graphics hobby I've been only playing with over the past few years.
I've also been working for/with Mike (Shred) kind of part time, when he needs me kind of thing.
And...at the moment I'm trying my best to keep GlitchCo moving forward. Not caring how slowly, as long as it's forward.
This year will be a challenge, but Ann and I are old hands at making things work, we feel the worst is behind us.
SO...
Bring it on!
March that is!
Hopefully I'll have my Silk Screen Press running soon enough, and I'll have some GlitchCo shirts with me!
