"You gettin' this a-hole?"

There is a whole series of Bill Mays spoofs on youtube.

Most are not appropriate to post here, so search on youtube for "Facts About Billy Maze"

Here's more Vince, with a product that's going to change your boring life! Pay particular attention to his comment at about 0:55 into it:

The slap chop commercial is what drove me over the edge. I have it paused on it right now as I type this.

Vince has a wikipedia entry. Turns out he is a comedian.

I don't mind Vince.

Billy Mays on the other hand. I'm watching his goofy ass promoting Mighty Mendit as I type.

I want to punch his "bear" ass in the face.

The Shamwow commercial is funny. There is so much soda in one shot, then just a damp carpet section in the other.

Popular Mechanics did tests on a bunch of the "Seen on TV" products this month. And surprisingly, a couple of them were actually useful, and worked as advertised.

I hate Billy the screamer Mays but Vince makes me laugh.

"ya following me camera guy?" -brilliant.

Shamwow is like the guy at the boat show who you'll stop and watch for a minute while Billy, I made myself known by screaming, Mays is just intrusive and abrasive.

Now let's talk about that retarded New York Times commercial that plays on CNN all the time.

Collection of pseudo "Friends/Seinfeld" characters.
Chock full of stupid comments.

"I got these great boots after checking the Sunday style section."

"It's like the weekend starts a day early."

"It's like a table of contents (chuckles) for the whole world." -I thought that was google?

"I'm not a call now guy, but you should call now."

That commercial makes me want to pull an Elvis and shoot the tube.

You also have to love the, "strict limit of X per CALLER" adds.

So greedy idiots will order the limit and then call back as another CALLER and order more. We love loop holes so they build one in and hope people jump through.

Different than a true limit per household.

Free gift, just pay separate shipping and handling (where the profit is.)

Slicker,

Couldn't agree more. Why do marketers of this crap believe that if you pitch it with some limey fop that suddenly it's legitimate?

It makes me want to see how far past my wrist I can shove their product up their pitch man.

I used to work with a guy who had an assistant who made a trip to the UK. She decided that she liked the way that English people spoke english and decided to emulate that speech.

She was from Arkansas.

I want to know where the slutz are that are in bikinis waiting for grated cheese

"Tacos, Fredachini, Lunguini, Martini, bikini" ?????

"Life is tough enough, we dont need to cry in the kitchen" Theres Obama's way out, just send every American the Slap Shot...
Who needs a bail out when you can be eating skinny, non boring foods that dont make you cry....
Only thing worse than INFOmercials are the Shopping channels where they do it ALL day long.

VINCE RULES ! He's even sportin' head gear. He's right up there with Elvis, Evel, and The Fonz.

His commercials are better than half the programing on TV nowadays.
