Like in a sot glass or on the Rock's??? Thats a sipping whiskey. On the rocks you want a good full glass of Ice and pour over. Let the ice melt into the Knot to bring out the true flavor. If you ain't drinking it this way ya ain't drinking it.LOL I serve alot of The Knot. We are top ten seller here in Wisconsin.

Brumbear,

A chilled glass is fine. But the deluting of the ice just a smidge makes it all the better. Trust me try it. It changes the flavor a bit and makes it just right.

Wow, I just got some Dr. McGillicuddy's Imported French Kiss Vanilla Liqueur. Well the bottle is empty, all 750mls, and I think this is a great little drink. The little bottle of cherry that came with it was good too.

Normally I prefer wine, however I was closer to the ABC store when I got the itch.

Usually it is either Makers Mark on the rocks or Hennessey Congnac neat. I just couldn't swing the price this close to Christmas.

Boiled Custard is like egg nog but twice as thick. Flavored like vanilla with a hint of rum.

I REALLY like rum flavor!

You can find it in the milk section of the grocery story with the egg nog. It's DAMNED good.

I like rum too, Mojitos, Bacardi and Coke...this does sound good. Do you use Capt's or any spiced rum for this?

George T. Stagg

For any of you bourbon lovers out there this is a must try. A bit spendy, but at 140 proof or so (every years bottling is a bit different) it is a steal. This is not Jim Beam.

Best bourbon I have ever had. And I have had a few.

Bads1 - just curious, what do your patrons think of Wild Turkey 101? I much prefer it over much anything in the 25.00 a bottle range.

I see you are in Racine. See you next time I am at the drag strip.

I go for the Blantons myself. Straight up. I've never understood why people put ice in it. Cooling it off reduces the sensations you get when you drink it. And there's already water in it, why dilute it further? The expert Bourbon maker at the distillery decided that it was perfect and ready to be bottled. Why should I adulterate it after that? Go ahead, tell me that adding water enhances the flavor. More than the water that's already in it does? Please, in all sincerity, somebody explain that to me.

I like Capt's in boiled custard. It's a great winter party beverage.

Then again, I like Duck Farts too.

If you want it cold, you chill the bottle, or the glass, never add ice. The only exception I would grand to that is if they are pouring it through a big Ice sculpture to give you a shot below.

I keep my orange Stoli in the freezer for Ice Picks.

When you pour it into the tea, it instantly freezes the tea touching the vodka making really cool ice crystal flakes.

Mmmmmmmm......Ice Picks! C'mon Summer!
