I found it curious that the article didn't mention his party affiliation. Had he been a republican, they no doubt would have emphasized it. But then again, it is Chicago politics. | ||

+1! I hadn't thought of that quote in a while. Read the entire series at least twice- he did one that involved a similar premise to a desert planet, but it was covered in water mostly. Good thread hijack... Anyone read Orson Scott Card? Ender's Game and the Worthing Saga are quite good. Sheri Tepper? Certainly Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. Gonna get the sci-fi geek on... One of the reasons that the governor was charge was that he was trying to get some of the journalist from the Tribune fired! | ||
