I'm not talking "Sponge butt square bob" crap. Real cartoons. Stuff that even kids of today think are funnier than the current crap."Warner Bros" and the like from the 40's - 60's,maybe 70's. I'll start with a teaser quote from one of my 100's of favorites."I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee". Hint: "My little killa". Name that toon.........

I don't have a name, but I remember seeing that one. Wasn't there a buzzard carrying the bumble bee?

Porky In Wackyland
It's a Black and White cartoon from the '30s that is hilarious.
I think you can find it on Youtube.

Atom Ant, spy versus spy, Dick dastardly and his trusty sidekick Muttley (love Muttley), He man and the masters of the Universe, She-ra, and who could forget...Voltron.
For kids shows that were more puppet than cartoon, we have one of my all-time favourites-The Muppets, and Fraggle Rock(dance your cares away..la la..)

Vampress,

Not a cartoon but the Muppets were and still are great.

Funniest scene is back stage at the Muppet show. Chaos abounds with Kermit, hands in the air and screaming runs straight into Beauregard the janitor. Kermit screams "Beauregard!!! Why are you standing there!!!?????"

The reply? Because this is where I was went I stopped walking.

I fall over every time I see that.

Another in the not-quite-a-cartoon category. How many of you remember the "Super Marionation" series "Supercar" and "Fireball XL5"?

"Thunderbirds" was the same deal but much later.

I bought my brother-in-law a copy of Song of the South just to prove it could be bought in the states, played on domestic DVD players and not cost $6-$800 dollars. I bought it for $38 shipped. Anyway, at the end of it it had a cartoon short called Cole Black and the Sebbin Dwarfs. Talk about your early racism. I think I saw it posted on Youtube at one time.
