I always said if they want us to buy eco friendly cars/bikes make them fast. Could you imagine getting smoked by a bike making that electric sound...

There's a video somewhere, youtube probably, of an electric drag bike someone is promoting on a sidewalk and it gets away from them and slams into a car in traffic. Should've worn a helmet.

Only problem is the lack of range in the electric vehicles.

I think the range will gradually get better just as performance gets better. I still like the "nuke bike" thread idea.
