These are two threads that have been hijicked and I think lead by tramp. Iam not taking it personal but I could. Then I could follow him around in his threads and post stuff that didnt pertain to his topic of choice. Iam not going to do that but if I did I would hope the moderators would allow it. If they didnt thats their choice. Iam free to come and go. I will be happy when its all over with as well believe me. |

As I plugged my bike into my battery tender today, I asked myself what would it take to turn my bike into a generator. I didn't start to think about it yet. |

The decisions we make on our energy policies could make or break us. Calling it a stupid topic says alot. I hope your not planning on voting. |

I agree completely Johnny. The problem is that the day before the election where most have already made up their mind it just doesn't make much of a difference. |

What's wrong TRAMP? Did someone attack your self proclaimed better, smarter and otherwise greater than everyone else self esteem? The level of intellectual awesomeness of your posts has declined dramatically. What will we do? |

This thread is a perfect example of why political discussion is better held in person than in an online motorcycle forum. Tramp, bless his fat little heart, is attempting to steer this runaway sled away from the cliff. More power to him, I say... rt |

I don't think JRamsey thought that out cause he wouldn't have said a stupid thing like that knowing what TRAMP has done for OUR comunity in the past and present and hopefully future. Especially for turding up a politcal thread on a MC board lets flush out our headgear on this one OK |

If you don't want to participate in a political thread DON'T! Holy shit, no one is forcing you to read or respond to anything in particular. How many of the threads (especially in "Quick Board") don’t have anything to do with motorcycles? Grow the up and let people have the their conversation. |

I'm ready for the election to be over so people will start buying cars again and I can go out to eat and have a steak. People aren't buying cars right now. Not because cars are bad or anything, it's just they are scared of the other guy. Funny thing is, once the other guy is voted in, people will start spending money again. Go finger. |

>>>I'm ready for the election to be over so people will start buying cars again Don't get in a hurry:
- Porsche posted a 50.1% plunge to 1,427 units from 2,862 a year ago.
- From the Sacramento Bee:
quote:Sales of new cars and light trucks fell 19.1 percent in the third quarter to levels last seen 12 years ago, according to an industry report released on Monday by the California New Car Dealers Association. It predicted sales next year will likely fall more.
- Ford stock is at an all time low and Ford is currently groveling to the feds for a bailout.
The good news is that there are some killer deals! |

Don't get in a hurry: Porsche posted a 50.1% plunge to 1,427 units from 2,862 a year ago. From the Sacramento Bee: -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ quote: Sales of new cars and light trucks fell 19.1 percent in the third quarter to levels last seen 12 years ago, according to an industry report released on Monday by the California New Car Dealers Association. It predicted sales next year will likely fall more. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Ford stock is at an all time low and Ford is currently groveling to the feds for a bailout. The good news is, the Honda dealership that I work at, had the most sales of any dealerships in our area and in our district. The unfortunate thing is, not many of them were sold by me. |

I am a little put off bye Ford wife has an 07 edge went through a transfer case seal an entire transfer case and another case seal in 15000 miles. I love buying American but can they make a decent machine in 2008 the worst thing is it leaks fluid directly on the exhaust. |

Isn't that likely because you've been there for a shorter time period than your fellow salespeople? That's a little bit of it, I'm sure, but I've been averaging 12 and I only did 3 last month. |

Your fellow salespeople likely experienced similar dropoffs as well, though, right? sale-for-sale, you may not be doing so poorly in relation to them....plus they've well-established, old rapports with much of their base. Everyone's feeling this hit, not just you. The only real difference is that some of us predicted it, 4-8 years ago. |

Oh snap! Tramp pulled out the Picard facepalm! IT'S OVER NOW, BEATCH! (LOL, I'm a big ST:NG fan). We need to find a way to power the cities off of soybean oil and corn syrup. That stuff's so plentiful it gets crammed into all kinds of stuff that doesn't need it, just so someone can make a buck. ~SM |

>>> Ford stock is at an all time low and Ford is currently groveling to the feds for a bailout. 30% down is what Fox News reported last night. >>>The good news is that there are some killer deals! Just parked a new F150 in the drive. I saved over $6500.00 in real money. I have a quote on the exact truck from 4 months ago for that much more. Pays to be patient. It's a buyers market. The fact the truck was built in Kansas City was the clincher. I was thinking maybe Court would sign it for me. GO VOTE PEOPLE!!! |

If we did that, then American kids would present with FAR lower "ADD/ADHD" occurrence, which would kill a substantial revenue vector for the pharmaceutical industry. Funny how Corn Syrup is barely used in Europe, and ADD/ADHD also presents in similarly low occurrence, there. |
