Glad everyone had a great time and all were OK if there were some round-side-up moments in your day 
Steve, I felt so bad about you going down! We were having a great session when I realized that something went wrong. Man, what a fast track! If I keep taking my S3T to the track, I'm going to look into back cutting my gears to keep the lack of engagement to a minimum. Hanging between gears when you're looking for engine braking on a downshift is way un-fun. Hence, the lack of front fender for me! |

Yeah Tim, that's me, it happened right after I left you at lunch. I also have a nice set of Fieldsheer full leathers that I can let go cheap. They are a bit scuffed up though.....
My feet and wrist are getting a nice tinge of purple today but the swelling is down and nothing hurts really bad. I'll be fine except for feeling like an a$$hole.
Chris - Even though I had the superior bike we were very evenly matched and it was great fun going back and forth. If we had similar bikes, I doubt that I could stay with you. When you passed those two guys on the carousel, I followed and punched it at the exit to catch up. I wish I had a do over at that instant so I could have rolled it on just a little less. The 1125 is just so fast compared to my XB, it took off. I can still see the front tire just ever so barely slipping off the edge of the pavement.The rest is history. I pulled the bike out of the trailer this morning. It's not that bad at all. I'll make a parts list and get it to you soon. |
