Actually he was second best for QB rating in NFL history. Rodgers had a rating of 81.3 I think and the best was a 83.3 from Rob Johnson?? I forget who it was and the exact numbers but it was something like that. Still waiting for my head to spin Dana............ |

It was the second or third best QB rating. I saw that number too. But let's not forget, Rodgers has been around a while, this was just the first start and really, an 81 QB rating isn't all that great. If he goes into the 4th or 5th game with that, he'll be a disapointment. (Message edited by Buellinachinashop on September 09, 2008) |

Ohhh Damnut I seriously think you have some issues.LOL Regardless of 1st,2nd, hes still playing very good ball with a really good team. Favre.... and I still think he's the best did no better his first game this year. He was what...15 for 22 and Rodgers 18 for 22. Pretty close actually. Rodgers has shown that he has a arm... no doubt. He scrambles and is good at it. I think you are looking to fault him. I hope the guy proves everyone wrong. Favre also played his first season games against a terrible team. Miami suck's. The Viking's are a really good team. Favre has a much easier schedule versus Rodgers. I'm cheering for Rodgers..... Hope he does well... and I think he will. He's had injury's. So has last years MVP and hes out!!!! Shit can happen. |

It's just for you Dana. I'm glad you like it. Rodgers will be fine, eat some cheese and be happy. Favre will be fine too but unlike Rodgers, Favre won't be playing in January. |

Rodgers looked good, but penalties almost cost the Pack the game. If they can get that cleaned up, they should be just fine. As far as the Pats are concerned, when you have a coach as good as Bellichic, you find a way to work around the loss of a player. In 1972, Bob Greise was injured early in the season, and did not come back till the playoffs... the Dolphins did OK that year. Expect to see the defense step up. |

Interesting weekend in the NFL. The Pats looked good, Cincy, the Bolts and the Queens look sad. The Pack could have easily lost that game yesterday. It was alot closer than the score led on. DamNut, I think you're right though, the Pats could very well be the best team in the AFC yet. |

The Pats game yesterday reminded me ALOT of the way they played in 2001 when Bledsoe got hurt and Brady took over. Don't do anything stupid with the ball, manage the game, hit em hard with the defense. I have to say it is going to be an exciting year. I still say Favre should have gone to TB............. Rodgers look good again this week, I think you guys have a keeper. |

TB was talking to SF about trading Gracia. SF was not interested. Team I think we actually have to look out for in the AFC East is the Bills. Ya, it's only week two, but they are looking good. |

Fantasy guys have to be scratching their heads. Its been interesting so far for that too. Rodgers did look good, I gotta give him that, his mobility is really nice and tossing 5 td to zero int's is gonna win you fans. He's a humble guy who seems pretty damn focused. |

The Pack could have easily lost that game yesterday. It was alot closer than the score led on. I don't think that was the case. Detroit shouldn't of caught up and they did. Packer seemed to slack in the 3rd and beginning of the 4th. They got there momentum back and did their job. Aaron did look good again. He got rid of that first game... first start jitters. Now he may be able to settle in even more. If he stays healthy hes gonna woop some butt. |

"I don't think that was the case." Who was leading with 7 minutes left to play? Up until that 7 minute mark, GB was outscored 19-3.They were on their heels and could have lost, but for Lions turnovers. Sloppy play on offense, special teams and defense almost blew it. |

Read my post John. They got their momentum back and did their jobs. The last minutes was a blowout. Infact we usually struggle to beat detroit every year. |

Azxb9r...every year I pick an "underdog" to make the playoffs. Cards have been it the past two years. Not a Warner fan...but I think they can do it this year. |

Sure is and I'm gonna enjoy the game from my recliner this time instead of at work. GB/CB game should be a tough game and a real challenge for Aaron Rodgers. |

Well who watched the Pack??? They pretty much blew chunks. I think it was coaching staff holding them back a bit. None the less a loss. |

What a weekend. I was overseas and didn't see any of it - but when I read the results pages I reckon I would have picked the winners of two games - and one of them went to OT. |

Hey Damnut... How's the Patriots doin'? Dana, I don't think the Pack 'sucked' per say... But, they did miss Harris when he went out. If Harris is going to be gone the rest of the season, I sure hope Bigby gets healthy FAST! |
