I have a little tasty mexican watering hole down the street from me. It is sort of a second home for me. It is located under our elevated roadway (viaduct) in an alley. You have to know it is there. Well usually when I head down there I see a couple of bikes parked nearby. Turns out there is a resident in the area that owns a BMW oilhead tourer, and a relatively new Triumph Bonneville. Well tonight I headed down the stairs I and I see the Bonnie sitting out. I was shocked at what I saw. Some gang banger had tagged the bike with gang signs. It was so sad. How could someone do that to a beautiful bike. I talked to the owner of the restaurant and he was so upset he wanted to go out and clean it off. I told him he shouldn't as he might end up damaging the bike further. It is a sad world we live in. Here is the bike, it is a very dark photo so I don't think you can see the damage.

My front fence gets done occasionally. I'm an artist - I have paint too.

I'm an artist - I have paint too. I figured you wouldn't have those sorts of problems. Of my travels to Aussie land, the Australian people (where ever they live) do not put up with crap like that. A very BS free sort of people. |

The Gangsta is a universal blight unfortunately and Auckland is a melting pot from all over the Pacific rim. |

Sucks when looser kids have looser kids who have looser...These people simply don't understand concepts as basic as work. If it isn't handed out to them, then they'll steal it and if that takes too much effort then they'd at least like to wreck things for others who do work. Entire generations driven by a notion of entitlement. |

F'n Seattle, I hate what that town has become more everyday. We had a punk A$$ kid back in the 90s that was puttin his mark EVERYWHERE. They finally caught him, the judge gave him community service and a grant for public art. It aint just the slacker kids that are way off base. For those with inquiring minds that think I am b.s-ing. The tag was TRED for Travis Edwards from 1992-1995 sprayed defaced or vandalized with over 5000 tags to his 'credit' I am not sure who I dispise more, the jacka$$ or the judge. |

We had a guy that went by the handle "BORF" in the DC area who painted his name all over the place along with nonsensical phrases such as "BORF hates winter", and often with a "Kilroy"-like image of a person. They finally caught him - a middle-class kid from the suburbs. He got 18 months in prison....wait for it...wait for it... ...with 17 of them suspended. He did also get $12,000 in restitution costs and 80 hours of graffiti-related community service. Some people actually support him, saying that his graffiti "brightened the faces of thousands". |

The Polk County area here in FLA had a problem with this some years ago. The county then built a few skate parks so the skaters would stop using public places to skate. The county basically broadcasted that graffiti "artists" were allowed to tag the new skate parks with no questions asked. It actually helped some. |

Taggers really piss me off. The shop I work at got tagged twice last week. Painting over graffiti is such a great way to start the day. I would like to paint some graffiti on them with a paint ball gun. |

I would like to paint some graffiti on them with a paint ball gun Now I am not advocating this but, I once had a building manager here that was a little off kilter. On good days he was fun, but there was a dark side. His sense of punishment sometimes went to far. Sometimes undesirable people would end up in the dumpster dead (not joking). Well we had a chronic graffiti problem out in the alley. He was determine to stop it. He placed a 5 gallon bucket filled with 2 gallons of bleach, and rest hot water on a 2nd floor ledge. He patiently waited until a tagger showed up. At the time I didn't know there was any bleach, I just thought it was water. Well he dumped the bucket on the kid. Within seconds his outfit turned white, along with screams from the kid. The crazy manager then called the police with a now unique description of the hood rat. In my mind this went too far, bleach is not to be played with. It was much more fun when he sprayed them with the firehose.
