Oh, I solved a mystery of these young guys riding GSXR 1000's and Busa's.
Apparently a lot of them get a Suzuki Credit Card, buy the bike on the card (w/ an outrageous rate I'm betting) and then just get liability. The bike isn't financed in the traditional sense, so they don't have to buy full coverage. They own the bike but have a huge credit card bill.
It sounds incredibly dumb to me but there's a fool born every minute.

They tried that to get me to buy a Gixxer, I got a LTZ-400 instead and the guy was peeved. I told him I would not owe 13k on a bike with liability and a high theft rate.

I have heard of that I thought it was Illegal, OMG!

if 8% on that 10k purchase nets out to 16k payoff the gixxer ala card is likely to be in excess of 20K pay off !

I guess there are fools born ever}y minute.

Try riding in traffic between Baltimore and Washington DC
I've seen just as many of your coffee drinking, makeup applying, reading the paper, 3 lane crossing, dvd watching, messing with their kids, text messaging, SUV "drivers" driving something other than SUVs.
One day I'm going to ride with a camera mount and document all of the distractions and hazards we face on some of the roads in Maryland and try to create more Motorcycle safety awareness. AND one day I was coming home from teaching MC safety on 295 north, a group of Black female riders passed me on sport bikes, they were just going over the speed limit, and it was the coolest group I had ever seen riding K

These douche canoes are members of a local motorcycle board I frequent. They tried to pass it off as "hurrying" to a charity run.

Some on the board openly posted their disdain for the perpetuating of a negative image of motorcyclists....Others looked at it as 'cyclists being messed withed by LEOs.

This area is a fertile breeding ground for squids and idiots.
