It's yellow.

I guess you had to get something that already matched your leathers.

It is a tad cramped, or so it seems. Knee down wont be an issue. 2003, 3400 miles. bike and 1grand for my 2004 GSXR that had 22 thousand on it.

sweet hammer.

is that thing a low? i cant see the shock spring but it looks like it is. you dont want to make it a regular s do ya? i might be buying one of my xb9r's back from a friend for the gf so i am going to have to scrounge up a low suspension for her.

you know you are going to need that extra lean angle; )

If the low has a yellow shock then yes it's a low. Which components do we need to swap out? if it's just a shock issue then sure i'm game.

the shock and forks are both set up different between the regular and the low, so it is actually both forks and the shock that would need to be swapped.

the one i might be buying back only has about 7000 miles on it so everything is still in good shape and i put over half those miles on while i owned it. he has only put about 1000 on in the 2 years he owned it and now he just bought another super glide

Hammer, yes the yellow spring means it is a low. if something Tim doesn't work out. my g/f would probably switch out with you. she has a 05s with 3500 miles on it.

sweet bike and a sweet deal to boot! glad to see you back on a buell. while it was great to see riding i just don't think that gixxer really sooted you.

Well, are ya?

Nice bike, welcome back to Buelling!

Swapping out suspension is way easy, as long as you have someone to swap with, it'll take all of 45 minutes if you're taking your time.

oh ya, i forgot about the kick stand.

if we do get it worked out, i would tear this one down and send you the stuff so you wouldnt have to have your bike apart until you had the other stuff right there to put back on.

I think you may have to swap the lower tree as well. Aren't the forks on 2005's the 43mm tubes while the 2003's had 41mm's ?

Cool Hammer. That is a great deal and the Lightning Low is a great set up. You may want to change out the seat first and see if the bike works for you. Other than reduced suspension travel the low set up has a very tight feel and you may find you like it like it is.

as far as i remember the older ones are the same.

i do know if it was getting switched with a newer one the bottom triple tree would have to be changed.

i am going to look at the parts books and make sure tomorrow though when i get back to work.

Hey Hammer! Glad to see you back on a Buell.
Are you going to Make the WV Buell Rally?

I was hoping to demo that Gixxer then but I'd rather see you back on a Buell.
