... didn't exactly sideswipe me, but pulled out in my lane as I was passing very slowly, doing about 50 in a (fast) 45mph section of three lane.

There was only maybe 3 feet between us when he cut in front of me. The part that really bugged me was there was no signal or even head movement when he changed lanes, and there was no acknowledgement of the horn I was blasting to let him know someone was there.

Then... he slowed down to the exact speed of the car that he was initially following. I was exasperated. I started waving my arms to get his attention and finally just passed him when I had a chance. He catches up at redlight a mile down the road... and pulls up right next to me in my lane, not the other two free lanes... I've totally had it with this clown at this point. He lifts his visor and says "I saw you..." and before he could say anything else, I shot back, "So you did all that stupid shit on purpose? Stay in your f**king lane you f**king idiot!!!". He knew he was so wrong he didn't try to defend himself, just looked straight ahead. I think I embarassed him in front of some friends that were in the car he was initially following.

The light turns green, I roar off and the guy waits about 5 seconds before he lets his clutch out, he doesn't want to be anywhere near me... but a minute later, he comes flying by doing about 80 (in the grease streak) in a sweeping corner where 50 is fast (at least he was two lanes away this time).

He was riding a new Yamaha R6 with paper tags... only a helmet for gear. His t-shirt was flipped over his back as he tore by. Then be bobs and weaves between a few cars making them hit their brakes to avoid him. Then he just gets caught at the next traffic light... now he's got to suffer the wrathful looks of the people in the cars (I can only hope).

I predict that guy's gonna die.

I was going to say that to him as I turned right at the stoplight, but I thought he might misconstrue me yelling, "YOU'RE GONNA DIE!" as a terroristic threat and not as the helpful prediction it was intended to be.

I hope I see that guy again before he dies so I can tell him.

What a tool.

A buddy used to work at the Honda dealer near Hollywood as a sales guy. They used to make bets on how long it would take before they saw new riders/bikes come back for new fairings. They literally kept track on a spreadsheet.

Had a non-noob almost tag me this morning. I'm on the S2 southbound on the interstate on the way to work. Two bikes are coming down an onramp to merge onto the freeway, so I move into the left lane to give them room. Harley in front, Goldwing with some miles on it behind. Harley falls in behind a car in the right lane, Goldwinger follows a few seconds back, so I begin to go past in the left lane. As I'm about even with Goldwinger's back tire he decides to jump into my lap, sees me at the last second as he had only focused on the car behind me that was visible in his mirror, stumbles back into his lane to avoid meeting me up close and personal, hits his throttle, rides up onto the Harley's fender, then jumps into my lane in front of me.

I just shadow him in the left lane until he finally moves over into the right lane a few miles down the road. I then motor on past him, way in the left side of the left lane, then continue on my way to work. I suspect his bike will become roadside debris at some point this summer based upon the additional observation of how he went past as I was exiting the freeway and he headed into heavier traffic towards the downtown area. I just hope he doesn't take anyone else with him.

Be carefull out there, they may not be out to deliberately get you, but if they do then it doesn't really matter what their intentions were as crashing sucks regardless of what led to it.

I had an obese guy on a harley almost take me out when we were in a group ride.
It was his funny drunken joke.
get it? I almost killed you!

I knew the organizers and he was kicked from the ride.

I was cruising down a 4 lane 55 at about 65 when I felt a tap on my back. Sure enough some other Buell guy thought it would be cute to give me a love tap for fun. Scared the crap out of me. Then he whipped off giving me the backhanded two finger hello.

With friends and expected then it's fine,
with strangers the game has too many variables and unknowns.

"Hey, hop onto the back of his bike for a bit while I wick it up ahead for awhile"

"Hi, mind if I ride with you while he jumps ahead and checks out the road for debris"

"No problem, settle on in"

All done at speed on county roads and unknown speeds in days long gone by and best left to fading memories....

I have idiots come whizzing up on me all the time here in Orlando and get directly behind me where I can't see them.

You can immediately tell they are new or inexperienced riders and a danger to themselves as well as the motoring public in general.

I'll usually wait for a good exit/entrance ramp to approach as I take three toll roads home every day and pull happily away while watching them try in vain to keep up.

It's certainly scary.
