Every time there is a large Buell event the board quiets down a lot while those attending are out. Does this mean that of the thousands of people registered on BadWeB that a small number, those making the attendee roll call, are the noisiest and perhaps happiest Buell owners? Quiet riders unable to attend Homecoming, now is your chance to make some noise. Let's hear from you, at least let us in on why you aren't go to the 25th. My leave date is the 2nd. |

I was going to go, but a guy at work had a family trip to Disney planned this week. I could've pulled rank and bumped him out of this week, but that's not how I roll. Maybe next year. |

I'm not into these factory-generated spoon-feeding sessions... I'll be out in the twisties racing my own goddam zeitgeist |

"I'll be out in the twisties racing my own goddam zeitgeist" After attending several rallies from large to small, I am really getting into doing the "off the beaten path" approach with just a few other riding pals. More personal, memorable and relaxing. |

I simply can't afford to go. I can't take more than a couple days off without major financial suffering. I am going to Laguna Seca for Moto GP though I only have to miss two days of work to do that one |

I'm stranded in paradise. Really like to go to put same faces to the names, but man, what a mission. I even wrote a proposal to HD-A to podcast and do live webcasts from the event, but they didn't buy it. Maybe it's lucky, I have a page in the book that I could wear everybody down by reading over and over again in a broad aussie accent. |

172 vacation hrs in the bank and stuck at work due to tornado & flood action. At least my house is still standing. Man, I was really looking forward to the 25th, even if I was was just standing around at one of those factory-sponsored spoon-feeding sessions. I don't go for the riding, I go to see my fellow Badwebbers! |

We have a one week bike trip planned for 7/12-7/19 in the Colorado Rockies looking for all the twisties we can find. Our next trip after that is to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Inside Pass Track day and Femmoto in October. So.....no can afford the 25th Anniversary. Maybe next year. |

I won't be able to attend for a few more years. My son is 9 and so much looks forward to going to the Pepsi, er Coke 400 in Daytona on 4th of July weekend every year. It's the only race we attend and he starts asking me about it around Christmas. Until he gets older and doesn't want to hang out with dear old Dad anymore, I couldn't bring myself to disappoint him by not going. |

My Woman just had our first Kid! Congrats!!! I try to attend each year, and haven't been able to make it. This year was going to be different. I put in for vacation for March Badness, Homecoming, and Buelltoberfest all at the same time. No problem, all requests were granted. Then at Thanksgiving I was told I was going to be laid off... Unemployed = event are few and far between... Besides, what's the use if Tramp ain't going? |

Make your own- Put together a run and post it on this board, and on ATC. As a cop, your opportunities to tie in something philanthropic (DARE, PBA, etc.) are much better, as well. Unless by "LEO", you were just getting all astrological on my a$$.... |

Steve_mackay Posted: Hey Tramp, one question for ya... how many Homecomings have you been to? Hey steve- One answer for you: None. I also haven't had sex with another man, but I don't need to get on that bus to understand the route, either.... I am sure these events are very cool, I just don't really like factory-oriented stuff much, regardless of what factory is involved. I really just try to ride as much as possible, frankly. } |

"I wished BUELL would hold events in GA... or FL... I would DEFINATELY make one.." Did you ever make it out to MB or Buelltoberfest in North Georgia? I met Erik Buell at the first MB I went to, and the Buell major domos at the last one. These weren't factory reps... it was the president of Buell, John Flickinger and a few of his minions. Out to visit lil' ole us in the mountains. |

Cash flow.... Sure I'd love to go... but since I ain't riding from VA (that would take 2 weeks round trip) and since I hate sleeping in a tent! (that's another 2 weeks worth of pay for the Holiday Inn -joking) There isn't much possibility of me going. You guys just post up your videos on youtube and I'll live vicariously through you. (At least this year) +1 on March Badness.... went down for one day...rained the whole time! Still worth the trip! |
