99.9% of the time i ride in full gear. atour master jacket that i love and tourmaster caliber overpants.

sometimes the overpants are a bit much at 80+ degrees. i'm just looking for suggestions on different pants, such as riding jeans with armor. i've been considering the cortech dsx or mod pants and curious who's got and more importantly whos gone down in them and how they held up.

other suggestions and options would be appreciated .

thanks guys.

Try the Bohn armour bodyguard stuff.

http://bohnarmor.com/

It's still two layers, but it's not ugly overpants in the summer, and is really quite comfortable. Wife got me the shirt and pants this time last year. I dont see a lot of need for the shirt and have never worn it on a ride, but the pants are SWEET! Fit under any reasonable loose fit Jeans.
I have not been down in them but a buddy (Who recomended them) has. (Wears them under his pants on a motard) and says the hold up and stay in place very well.

Hope this helps...

draggin liners. i wear them, havent went down in them, but i trust them to do thier job. not visibly able to tell you are wearing them, comfortable, a little hotter than just wearing jeans (it is 2 layers), fit under jeans, they do breath well too.

On occassion I wear Field Sheer 4 Season pants. They are vented, and have a zip out winter, water resistant liner. They come in black or silver.

What's wrong with this invention known as "Levis"?

I've ridden for over 4 decades almost exclusively in them 9except when I need rain pants over them) and they've served me fine.

I wear Joe Rocket mesh pants. Work great and hopefully more durable than jeans when sliding accrossed who knows what.

I use the Alpinestar over pants. Double mesh, knee pads, insulate the heat from the bike well, easy to get on and off. I wear them over shorts when it is hot out and jeans otherwise.

I wear the Buell USRP riding pants for specific riding duties. They were excellent in last years get off. Really kinda hot to walk around in though. They are regular type pants, as such you cannot just zip out of them when you reach your destination.

Jeans suck when they meet pavement. Might as well be in shorts.

Chaps or assless pants. Not assless chaps.

That would be redundant. : D

What surprises me most is that F-B didn't post that (or a similar) pic.

I'm scared, my grip on reality has been broken. Every thing I thought I knew is now
in question. This MUST be what going mad feels like.

How can they be called "assless" when indeed there is an ass in them(hanging out at that!)
