Well Chris made it out to Waterloo to get her XB9S low today. She ended up hauling it out because of the rain we had all the way there & back. A few pics from the day in no particular order. I took an XB9S out for a spin. I was actually amazed how smooth the bike felt at 70-100mph. Doing 70 & it felt like 40, did a few small wheelies & then the rain started coming down again. Dave hard at work as usual. Heres Daves desk, proof he works hard. Notes from & to everyone. Looky what I found in the showroom. Now Bill will know what Dana is doing with his M2 hybrid.

This will put to rest all those ugly rumors that me & CJ dont get along. I was more than happy to ride bitch Thanks for the ride Chris. Dave setting up the shock to actually work properly for CJ...Imagine that, a dealer & salesman who actually does his job & enjoys doing it. Hey Dave, thanks a lot for letting us unvade you for the day & disrupt your work. Enjoyed the ride..wish the rain would have held off longer tho. BTW....when I was leaving Dave was talking with another local from these parts about a new 9. Have to wait & see if he bagged yet another one. |

Congratulations! Your cheeks are going to be hurting from all the smiling you're going to be doing. You really do look good on it. Dave, it's a pleasure seeing a salesman who really does his job well. Keep this stuff up, and Dyna will end up buying a 12 from you. I'd really enjoy seeing that. He really does belong on a Buell. |

Chris: Congratulations and all of us are going to be eager to hear how you like your new Buell. You, dear friend, are the epitome of what Buell intended in terms of the Blast to XB transition. I'm willing to bet that you seat time on the Blast will make your XB ownership experience all the more rewarding. Muchco congratulado ! Dave, thank you for continuing to bring new meaning to the words "dealer service". The lesson I take away from this is if ya treat folks right and make spending their money an enjoyable experience, they'll gladly travel a distance to do business with you. I'd suggest sending a complimentary package of Kool-Aid to each new owner with a note explaining there are few things in life as fun as riding a Buell! Thrilling news.... Court |

CJXB, Thank you for the business! If you have any questions at all don't hesitate to call or email me. Let me know how the suspension feels once you get used to the bike. Dyna and Mrs. Dyna Thanks for the pictures and helping me load the bike. Ride to the edge! Dave OK, who's next? Iowa HD/Buell (Buell Cycle Center) |

That is too funny, I didn't notice the Kool Aid myself !! if ya treat folks right and make spending their money an enjoyable experience, And Daves did just that !!! Court is right, I know I could have never just jumped onto an XB without having ever ridden a smaller less powerful bike, so I learned on the Blast and had a Blast doing it ! Thanks ! CJ XB P.S. Damn rain is POURING down !! Oh well, there's always next week !!

CJ...Save the shipping costs and just take the next two days off. Weather will be great right here in CheeseLand. Then again, having Court's certified break-in certificate may be worth its weight in gold in your scrap book. |

Looks like the weather cleared. Just got in from a two hour ride long enough to pick up Di and am going back out for a dinner ride. Like the locals in Milwaukee say,"If you don't like the weather, wait 20 minutes." Well, this was well over 20 minutes but at least it is nice again. Have a strong suspicion that CJ has been out riding as well. |

I wish I could have been there, had to work at the National Cattle Congress Fair. Wooo hooo. What a waste! Really would have rather been at the store. Oh well. Congrats on the new bike, hopefully we will find another reason to meet up and maybee get in some riding. Craig Buell Cycle Center
