This spring its the Hydration Pack. I picked mine up last night from Suburban Motors in Thiensville. I don't believe that all Buell dealers will carry it, so check out which ones are closest to you. Buell lists the participating dealers.

I wanted to Demo the 1125r. The only one they had was SOLD.

We are some lucky bastards to be Buell people. This company always has cool stuff to give out.

I wish that they would conduct these giveaways like they did a few years ago with the Streetfighter shirt. Fill out a form and mail it in and they mailed you a shirt, that way everyone had a chance to get one, not just the ones lucky enough to live close to a participating dealer.

Shhh... you didn't hear this from me but when I rode down to Glendale last night, I got to look at their 1125R that WILL BE their demo bike!!! (originally was going to be a race bike but the demand is just TOO HUGE!)

Give Ernie a holler at Glendale if you're going to be in the LA area.

John,
Is Suburban using their TT as a demo bike by any chance? I got to at least sit on their 1125R before it got sold.

Ukes has both a 1125R and a XB12XT demo. They sold their TT.

I'll have to call around and find out if any of my so-called 'participating' dealers even HAVE a demo bike. >.<

The normal dealer I go to was already out, so I went to a participating dealer as listed on the Buell site and was told they were not participating...

That is sweet!
From the freebies that they give out, you can tell that the company is comprised of actual riders.

these are really neat items, but I wonder how good of spend is this for Buell? Wonder what percent of demo rides, and purchases come from these. From what I have seen, the ones getting these are usually current Buell owners in the know.....just wondering? rex

My dealer didn't even have the damn neck gaiters...

I love to have one of those hydration packs, and I'd love to demo an XT, but OH WELL... : (

I just told the crazy Hank the salesman (I've bought bikes from him before) at Kutter HD in Janesville, WI that I wanted to test ride a Buell and get the hydration pack. Sooooooooo, he let me ride the 1125R. OMG!!!! Scary fast !!!! I'd call that a good afternoon!

Holy crap that is sweet!

So, being that it is 100+ degrees here in TURKEY already, can somebody hook a displaced service member up with a Buell Hydration pack?????

Man, most brands won't even let you demo their bikes. Buell gives you nice stuff for the chance to ride a nice bike. How sweet is that?!

Looks like its Ukes on Saturday!

Good luck with that....

We tried that last year. The salesman was a complete to us, and wouldn't let us take a test ride. I would have loved to see his face as we mounted our bikes and rode away. The yellow firebolt in our group had MFG plates on it, and the rider's cubical is right next to Erik's : ) So the next Monday morning, Erik heard about the overly rude salesman.

I was just at Uke's tonite and they avoid the Buells like the plague. However the three 20 year olds that didn't look like they had a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of were jumped all over by the sales people because they were looking at some chromed out abortion. Yes. I said abortion. The 3 guys managed to take up about 15 minutes of the sales peoples time, then walked out. What a shock. Never gave my son or I a second look. Buell needs to get the F#%! out of the H-D dealers. I know they all aren't like that, but I bet more are like that than not. The pack would have been nice to use in the GT races I run when your on the track for 30 minutes with cotton balls falling out of your mouth 5 laps into the race. Guess I'll just go buy a Camelback.

Well... I got to ride one but only for about 2 miles and I kept it under 6K RPM (because I believe in Karma and I don't want to buy one that's been thrashed at less than 10 miles on the clock). The bike seems more flickable at 60 than my Firebolt. About like a lightning in that department. Power to 6K was good and I could tell she wanted more. I just didn't have the heart to do it. The brakes needed to be broken in but they felt super smooth with plenty of feedback. I think for the two stops I did I like my firebolts brakes better but I'm certain that was due to the newness of the pads and rotor. I squeezed the lever real hard a few times looking at the caliper and saw VERY little flex... about 10% as much as on the firebolt.

The hydration pack is excellent and will see use this weekend at a paintball tournament. too bad it'll be covered by a gillie suit.

Oh and the Blue on the frame is very nice looking.

The only thing that took me aback a bit was that there's quite a bit more in front of the frame compared to an XB. Of course it all disappears as soon as you have your eyes on the road and even when you're staring right at it, it seems much nicer looking that most current bike from the rider perspective.

WRT looks overall...

I like it. I think the Firebolt is prettier but the 1125R isn't ugly by any means.
