Hey all , We arrived home about 6:00pm. We had a great time this weekend guys and spideys! Spidey you are some kind a strange and it was great meeting you I think!! just kidden man ! I have to say i hated that all you great people came to play and got a little rained out. We are planning lot's of some really cool times ahead and am sure they will include many rides in those hills. At least you all got to ride. hint hint new12r !! Just kidden I didn't have much for protection or anything to keep me warm for a real fun ride down 129. I am going to try to find a babysitter for buelltoberfest, i should have my own leather's by then.

Had a great time bringing Hayden, seeing him with all his cool uncles an aunt's. It was also cool meeting all the fellow badwebbers. Kristie, Ann,Amy,Shelly an all the great women who helped me out this weekend thanks so much,it is really nice to get a break once in a while, an get to hang with some great people. Can't wait to see all the cool pic's! can't wait for next year!

That was too cool. Even with the rain it was great to meet you guys and just hang out.
I realize now that I didn't even know what twisties were till I went down 180. That is the sickest rode I've ever seen. Next time I'm coming a few days in advance so I can get used to those curves.

Finally made it home, sorry I had to leave early but it was a good thing I did. I drove in rain to the TN KY state line and then again in most of KS. The clouds parted and the sun came out about the time I got into CO. I am beat from this vacation but well worth it. Lynn and I really needed to make it home to NC which we did and then to go to MBV was great. Lynn is sorry she missed it but next year we will load up her bike, my bike and maybe a 50 to head out.

I did not get to ride as much as I wanted to but that is ok. Meeting the people was as much fun as any twisty.

I really appreciate everyone who came up to the old S1W and talked to me about it. That alone made it worth the trip. You all have no idea how good that made me feel that someone would actually want to talk about my bike. It was great seeing all the tubers and the M2s were fantastic.

I knew it was going to be a great and strange weekend when I gave Derrick a ride into town to get gas for his van.

Whoever has the picture of my drunk ass trying to ride that 50 feel free to post them.

I had a fantastic time and MB reminded me of some of the bike rallys I went to in the early 80s. It was more about people, bikes and helping each other out than about how much chrome you had.

Thanks guys and gals and btw the C3 sticker is proudly displayed on my S1W.

Frank

Had a truly 'damp' good time again! Thanks everyone for being there......back to work!

Ken, sorry we were separated by too many miles to get in some good rides together.

Mark and George, thanks for the room at the Inn when the fog settled in, and for letting the party continue on to Sunday.

363 days to MB6, ya'll...

I had a great time and met some of the coolest people this weekend. I only wish that I had been more outgoing and shook more hands, as there were people I intended to meet, but didnt.
-Dont think I snobbed ya'll...sometimes I clam up. Im wierd like that.

As far as the roads go....I was not prepared! It was like i brought a noodle to a knife fight.
60, 180, Wolf Pen, 348...UNBELIEVABLE.
Blind corners, guardrails, cliffs with NO MERCY for the aloof rider...WTF! I'll be ready by Buelltoberfest, fo 'sho.

What did I learn from MBV?

1) Buellers are different in every sense. What a rockin' group of people.

2) I am the suck. My skills are weak and my game is played.
Must...practice.......must kiss...mirrors

3) DjKaplan always looks like he just did something LOL

4) 3%r's are effin' nuts. I dig you guys.
Thanks for lettin' me party with ya'll.

5) "Thats what happens when you put a beer in the fire"

6) Spidey looks oddly hot in a pink thong.

7) SMHD/BWB/C3/3% know how to rock an event.

8) The "bathhouse" holds onto an odor like a friggin' museum. Courtesy flush, please.

9) I need to get MY dad back on a bike.
Thx USTORQUE for lettin me tag along with you and your dad.

10) BUELL FTW!!!

Thanks for the hospitality, folks. I cant wait to do it again.

Ill post my pics tonight.

What a fun weekend, despite the rain. I'm so glad we got there a day early this year. It was great to meet so many people I've "talked" to for the past year or so working on the RAN or the Matt Ware Fundraiser. I checked the roll call, and I think I spoke to all but maybe 30 people...I'll have to find you next year!

I think we'll be bringing a "fiddy" or two next year ourselves. What a hoot watching the 50 loop around the campground.

Guess we'll start planning Buelltoberfest now!

I think, this one right here was one of the more important and long lasting lessons of the weekend. One that I won't soon forget.

Hey Jimduncan - did you find shirts....or those hydration packs? I think Hammer wanted some also! It was nice to meet you as well. I know now why Carlos and Mark had such a fun time at the WVSC Rally.

Ratyson - I'll let you know about Buelltoberfest.

Glad everyone enjoyed the cookies.

Frank,
Glad you made it home! That sounds like one killer of a drive. It was nice meeting you, and seeing your bike in person! That is one beautiful ride.

Wish we could have ridden together, but there is always next year.

It's all fun and games until someone loses a Heineken! When the beer's flowing and the fire's glowing, the smart ones still have their gear on.

I don't think I even put 300 miles on my bike in the whole three days, but I still had a helluva time.

Hey all,
Slowride checking in, Dad and I left on Sunday around 3pm local and hit Dallas by 6am this morning.

MB5 "WoW", WTF have I been. How the heck have I missed this event for the last 4 years. Those roads were wicked sick, beats the super slabs we have here in Texas.

I wanted to take an opp to appologize to all those who I tried to hump with my Uly this weekend. I get dagone fired up on those roads and well that Uly is the best damn bike I have ever ridden on the twisty's. It is very forgiving and allows me to really get nasty with it.

Paintshaker, thanks for the ride Friday. It was the highlight of my weekend. Even though I couldn't see most of the roads we took up an over the Cherry Cola. It was riding by brail, wtf over!

CBR guy(forgot your damn name) thanks for getting the fire started (sick freakin fireball).

Ray, thanks for the advice up on the Gap. You know your stuff brotha. Looking forward to some laps of the loop with you in the future.

DJ, I vote badweb changes your handle to "DJTrenchcoat" or the "UniBueller" anyone want to vote on that? and ya better bring the damn unicycle next time cause I want to see that wheelie and stoppie you were carrying on about.

Smoke, thanks for the go juice (nothing like single malt) and the riding time. I am looking forward to a trip up to the Pig trail with ya in the future.

All in all the weekend was Fantastic and I plan on being back.

This pretty much summed it up for me...

"Pushing Wind and Passing Gas, baby!"

hell, i had a good time no matter what the pace(and it wasnt all THAT slow)! i'm just glad you were heading back to the same place i was. knowing me i would have gotten lost in the mountains(not such a bad deal until i would have run out of gas!!!).

that had to be a scene on the way to the cabin. what 15(give or take) thundering buells running in a pack at about 90 through some of those big double lane sweepers in traffic. watching traffic scatter cause it sounds like hells coming. i should of had the 9 to add to the symphony instead of the dry clutch rattle of the 1125 lol.

meeting jimduncan and mike5000 at the dragon lookout was perfect timing. just got my gear back on when they pulled in. gary's looking over at me and im like, time to play? hell yes it was. so it went jimduncan, me, mike5000, and bluzm2(brads last words before i pulled out were "i'm going to take it easy" we all know how that goes) i turn around after a bit of good paced running and heres mike5000, but then whats behind him? looks like an S2. so much for taking it easy, lol.

the run on blood mountain and wolf pen with ft bastard and spike was fun to. decided it was time to break out the 9 for a run. man i love that bike! the fog was thick as hell though. best part was being in the middle of nowhere when out of the fog pops a 50, balls to the walls at MAYBE 15 miles an hour up the hill with 5 cars putting along behind it. i was laughing so hard i almost missed a corner!

down point was i never got to make that run with new12r. was kind of looking forward to that. probably better though to wait until next time to have some DRY roads before i start trying to back the 1125 through the corners! it is definatly a different type of animal than my xb's

was quite the weekend. new bike, new tires, new roads, heavy rain and fog. knee down on a fresh setup in a new area on wet roads really bumps your game up a notch! but every time i get on the roads down in that area it bumps my game up a notch. I LOVE IT!
