ugh, well i got stalled when working on the trailer. sheared the gears in my brand new drill trying to drill all the holes for the hold downs. it was just a cheapy, but i was hoping it would last longer than a few uses! guess i'll be picking up a new 1/2" dewalt in the morning so i can finish tomorrow night. been rounding up things for the trip since i cant do much else. | ||

Wolf, you Ohio guys meeting up somewhere and leaving from there? I'm teetering on the edge of making the ride down but as much as I enjoy riding on my own I would rather do this with a group. Oh and this is Will the guy from Grove city with the black Uly who did the A.D.Farrows Halloween run with you a couple of years ago. I've got the bosses ok to take Thursday and Friday off and I've got the bags on my bike just need to get off my ass and do this thing.  | ||

I figure Im justified in posting this here, since my badness is hinged upon whether or not I finish the bike. Whats the recommended method for "failproofing" the shoe for the race header? Also, the clamp/collar slips off evertyime I try to secure it around the pipe and shoe. Can/should I weld a bead parallel to the end to prevent slippage, or am I just doing it all wrong (only goes on one way?) Thanks guys. | ||

Hehehehe. My heated vest was a size (or three) too large, and didn't fit under my leathers... So last night I had the girlfriend chop off about 3" of extra material on each side, now it fits veeerrryyy snugglylike. Off to pick up my leather jacket after work today. Then finish playing with the laptop, and get it all packed up tonight. | ||
