There are some interesting things going on with the visor on that thing.... care to explain what all the lil switches and gadgets are?

Sgthigg-- $405 from ebay (new). i've seen them has high as $475. it's new for 08, so price will likely come down next year.

Xb12mel-- i'll refer to the first pic to explain. the little gold nub at the bottom locks the visor down.

next up from the bottom is the clear post for tear-offs.

the little silver lever is a safety of sorts to keep the visor from flying off when it's not supposed to. inside that lever is an adjuster that adjusts the pressure that holds the visor open at any position you want.

visor swaps are a piece of cake. swing the lever down, push the silver button and pull it off.

i love the thing. i got a hjc ac-12 carbon last year. the things i like about this better is the taller chin guard, breath shield (removable), the vents supposedly work better according to reviews. the shark visors are pricey, but the dark smoke is really dark and all their visors are 3mm thick, noticeably thicker than the std 2mm thickness of most other visors.

there you have it, a dumb guy reviews a shark rsx flag helmet.

The first scratch is gonna be a heartbreaker. When that helmet gets retired, it should be put on permanent display.

dude i live in northeast ohio. i haven't seen the sun in months. the eagle should look bad ass in the sun with the metal flake in it. when the sun comes back out in june i'll let ya know.
