That is very very nice!
Now he needs to dump the side scoops and put on a set of carbon fiber inserts.
Damn nice.

Thats the bike that should have been the "alter" ego bike for Ghost Rider. Forget that lame 60s chopper through back.

You wouldn't by chance had any photos of it while in process?

It would be interesting to see the stages on how it was done.

Stunning bike

I like how you've kept the original scoop/airbox combo/tailpiece.I would've left off the X1 decal on the windscreen.

He sez he might make it to HomeComing - a little help here please?

Tell him he hasn't got any hair if he doesn't show. Tell him that he'll be able to ride on the track at Road America. Tell him he'll be able to do a track day at Blackhawk Farm. Tell him he'll be able to sit in seminars given by some of the most intelligent and capable engineers in the motorcycle business. Tell him he'll be able to hear a kick ass rock band. Tell him he'll be able to get a commemorative Tattoo. Tell him he'll see some incredible custom Buells. Tell him he'll be able to see the factory where Buells are made. Tell him he'll get to meet some cool Buell owners. Tell him he'll regret it for many years to come, if he doesn't make it.
If that doesn't work, tell him that my wife and daughter are going to ride their bikes 1200 miles to be there; and wouldn't he hate it if he was shown up by a 17 year old girl on a Blast?

that should have been on ghost rider and tell him if he wants to take it one step further, tell him to check out joebuell from down under. that would be an incredible one of a kind bike. not that it already isn't.

Holy smokes... that is one fine paint job. Good flame jobs always amaze me.

bad flame jobs do too, now that I think of it... but that is one of the best I've seen.

Thanx everyone, Jeff is just amazed with the comments/answers. (And keep the needles coming about making HomeComing.) He ordered an Air Hawk yesterday - a move in the right direction.

Now all I have to do is to get the parts for his bike I ordered in June (`07). Andy shipped `em but UPS lost `em and won't pay (WTF)
Then he will have no excuse except, as Crusty so succinctly put it, he has no "hair"... maybe the flames got it...

I don't get the skull & Hells fire paint schemes; seems too fatalistic to me.

But appears to be a good job, anyway.
