Torquemonster, I love the Conti Road Attacks on my S2! The XB9S has a low mileage Road Attack on the back and the stock tire up front.  Mismatched tires. I'm gonna replace the front with a Sport Attack, asap. When the rear wears out I can try a Sport Attack Rear. Anyone think it's a bad idea to run a Sport front and Road rear? The tread and profiles should be the same, just a difference in compound. IIRC, I read that running a stickier tire up front is actually a good thing. | ||

Mike, there are plenty of people to hang out with at TWO during the day. Some people just enjoy hanging out at the lodge. You could also bring a camera, Bambi didn't ride much at all during her first MB, and took tons of pictures of what all was going on during the demos. Some of the best candid shots ever. | ||

How many non-riding wifeys are going to be at MB-V? My wife is toying with the idea of coming. So it would be Melissa and I and Shelby (Shelby is gonne be ONE yeahs owd tomorrow!!). I have to make sure she stays busy/occupied/entertained while I am out riding. If she comes, she would most likely volunteer to help out with the demo stuff, but I can't speak for her on that. The other thing I need to do is find a place for us to stay. If they don't come with me, I'll be camping. | ||

Anyone think it's a bad idea to run a Sport front and Road rear? No. I have run a sport front tire and sport touring rear tire many times. I use to run a D207/D205 combo on the M2. The Sport Attacks are great tires. They stick like glue but they wear out quickly. A Road attack rear will help especially if you ride allot of Freeway. | ||
