I remember that one,

How about the two Grindhouse Flicks that were released. "Death Proof" and "Planet Terror"

Quigley down Under is one of my favs with Boondock Saints.

A couple local movies that are very good are "Young Triffie" and "Rare Birds". If you can find those two movies they are hilarious. Not to mention I have the bike that was used as the main vehicle in "Young Triffie".

I like most anything with a cow or a horse or a dog or a cowboy or an Indian or a soldier, or someone being turned into a newt. Being the hard rough guy I am, on my top list is The Princess Bride, The Gods Must be Crazy and I love the first five minutes of "It's a Joke Son"; makes my southern blood all warm and bubbly. Did you know the rivers all run South because they just can't stand it in the North?

Add ++ for "Two Lane Blacktop" and "Repo Man", (both featured Harry Dean Stanton, strangely enough). I'd strongly recommend "Rubin and Ed", a twisted, surreal tale starring Crispin Glover and Howard Hesseman. "Highway 61", a Canuck flick featuring corpse transport and a Bingo playing Satan (Steve Buscemi) is another must see. For those who dont mind subtitles, "Tampopo", a Japanese film about capitalism at it's finest, is worth watching. But there's something about "The Last Picture Show" that I've stayed up until four in the morning to watch....

....OK, it's Cybil Sheppard.

The Grindhouse double feature was okay. I liked Death Proof and Planet Terror was okay, I just didn't really like 'the drips' scene towards the end. If you haven't seen it, think Cabin Fever...

I think someone else already mentioned "A Boy and His Dog" but if not...

And don't forget "Killer Klowns From Outer Space." When I first got HBO, it seemed that was the only movie they showed for a long time!

And for Daikaiju fans, I LOVE the recent Gamera Trilogy: "Guardian of the Universe," "Attach of Legion" and "The Revenge of Iris." Best movies involving actors in rubber monster suits ever made.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes the Original 70s version of Gone in 60 Seconds,
One of the best ever car chase sequences you'll ever see & no cheap video effects either, proper cars doing proper stunts.

I'm also glad to see Death Race 2000 in the lists, but nobody has yet mentioned its sortof sequel, "Carquake".

Anyone mentioned "Whipped" yet? That's pretty darn funny. Nuno Bettencourt (guitarist from Extreme) has a small part in it, and Amanda Peet plays the trashy babe.

+1 on the "Momento". I loved that movie!

Anyone from Down Under seen the Cane Toad documentary? Seriously, it is hysterical on so many levels. I'd love to have a copy of that.

The RC car "stunts" and bad... well... EVERYTHING (including Stallone as Joey Biturbo!)

I gotta find that again.....
