I just break out the heated gear and GO! No snow will stop me, assuming we get some.

I live in Atl. and it gets cold, kinda.

i've got 3weeks of insurance left. I admit i'm a fair weather rider. I could still get some commutes in ,but if its not fun or pleasant i dont see much point.(other than escaping public transit hell)

Yup. Frost everywhere this morning... all of a sudden the "high" setting for my polly cartridge heaters made perfect sense! : )

"Polly Heaters: It's only cold when you wave!"

Easy solution: Move somewhere warmer.

Was actually out looking for heated gear this past weekend. the only problem is, if I buy some, my hubby wants some and the total cost would be somewhere around $600 for everything.

Guess it will have to wait.

Here, winter comes with snow but there is always those few days throughout the season where the snow melts and there is reasonably dry roads and and semi-warm temperatures (40-45)in the valleys and when the sun is out so am I even though I have on long thermals under my gear. I never winterize my bikes and warm them up as above. Keeps me tuned up also. Bob

season over? I haven't even put my Cee Bailey's 16" high windshield or my hot-grips on my Uly yet!

I rode my Uly every month except for February last riding season!

i ride all year round unless there is ice or snow. Have rode in snow, but that is the past. Sunny day, 15 degrees nothing like putting on the warm clothes and going for a ride to shake the winter blahs. The buell really seems to great in low humidity and cold air.
