Toona and Jackherrer - thanks for the offers ... I no longer need one .. One of my recently acquired customers (Wisconsin HD - not a Buell dealer, but still a good group of guys . ) has a tool rental program, and since I was out there to pretty up a few of their bikes I was told just take care of them on my invoice when I send it in and I left with the tool in hand and no lighter in the wallet ... So I do appreciate it guys ... but I have one on the bike now and hoping to have it done tonight as I have to head back out tomorrow to take care of a couple more bikes for them .. Buell owner's rock ! This weekend is when I broke the exhaust stud (120 miles from home), when I was out on a benefit ride for a female racer who had crashed, aside from the lead and trail riders of the 4 different groups out riding that day - no one else stopped .. except for one guy from Oconomowoc on his blue X1 who left his group, not knowing how to get back home from where he was, turned around and came to make sure everything was alright - he didn't know me - just knew I was one of the riders there for the benefit .. and a fellow Buell owner - he went so far as to offer a nut or two off his bike if it would work to at least get a nut on the one stud that wasn't broke so I could at least limp the bike home ... All worked out alright as Matt(yellow mohawk on his helmet) and BudC from Hal's went to a little town a half hour out to get me 2 nuts to get my bike back on the road ... Kudo's to everyone during the ride and the Badwebber's willing to loan me their tool ... |

Hey I'd loan you my tool but you ain't pretty enuff! Seriously tho, glad you're sorted. We have a, unspoken, NGLB rule when riding in a group here. Nobody Gets Left Behind. usually works pretty well. |
