I can't seem to find any plug and play conversions, I assume because of the funky turnsignal covers. Is there at least an LED brake light out there? Anyone using a modulator? |

The Kisan SM-1 makes the turn signals function as running lights, but not brake lights. I got a little LED strip to go under the tag that augments the brake light. So don't really need the turn signals as well very badly. I'm big on conspicuity. There is another kit that makes turn signals brake lights. I wonder if one could put both kits on? There is also the brake light modulator, that could be added to the SM-1. But I haven't done it. The only one I know of that does everything is called "The Illuminator" made by Badlands. They cost about $120 and no plugs, has to be spliced in. But it does it all. (Message edited by jayvee on September 14, 2007) |

i am currently working on a module that should work with the tubers fairly easy, giving programmable patterns for brake and turn signal augmentation. i will have to get a different PCB designed to work with the XBs though. it will be really cool once i get it all figured out, maybe i can sell them through a sponsor here??? |
