rich took a good tumble today. it seems that a car may have crossed the double yellow and forced him wide into the ditch. bike went end-over forward. rich appears to have a broken shoulder and a few busted ribs. got an air-lift ride from the locals to the hospital. will know more later. bike is at my place, rear sub frame and front clip but overall not too bad. appears to be straight otherwise. good news is now he's got a track bike and will need a new 1125r to ease the pain. time to make him laugh, those ribs are gonna feel great when the meds wear off! | ||

Wishing him a speedy recovery, but they never go as speedy as we plan. Pretty much the same thing happened to me on Friday the 13th (last week) but sounds like he got it a little worse. Earlier this year I mentioned that it sure seemed there were more of this kind of thing happening. I dont know if its cell phones or what causing cagers to be paying less attention. Maybe theres jusy more of us out there riding. | ||

ok, poor bastard is still in the er! shoulder is "shattered", thats gonna leave a mark. 3 busted ribs. shoulder will require non oem parts, surgery tomorrow. all he wanted to know was if the bike was totaled, even drugged up and in a spinal brace the boy still has 1125r on the brain! he did laugh when he heard that tramp's got dib's on the boots and iphone if he die's, a hearty ef-you.  | ||

went back to the scene last night to look for the remote camera lens he had mounted under the front fairing. found it half buried, appears to be ok though. fritz took some great pics of a "broken" hammer before the locals arrived, true to form all busted-up giving a one finger salute. now, how to download from an iphone?? | ||
