LOL i know I am talkin about the ride home H-D is havin from the four corners of the U.S. Peggy is still an events cordinator for HOG too so she is super busy (from what I have been told) I don't know what is goin on in the BRAG/HOG office so I am not one to judge. I am a little disapointed but I'll get over it by the 20th |

The rumor has been around for quite some time that HD told Buell "they had better get it right" with the XB series. I think it would be nice to see someone with some real enthusiasm for sport bikes in the FUEL spot. I can't imagine why they would pick someone else. It would also be nice to see Buell talk more about the future unless HD really is standing up there with a giant axe. Sooner or later HD is going to run out of people waiting to hand over 20K for a trip down nostalgia lane. |

HD calls all the shots regarding the future or lack of one for Buell. I agree they should have picked someone with infectious enthusiasm for the job. Someone like Dave S who loves riding, meeting folks, etc. I still believe Brag will be folded into HOG eventually, too much duplicity of services having both clubs serve almost the same exact same functions. HOG already handles over 750,000 members, another 5000 or 10,000 Brag members wouldnt make any difference to them at all.

Sooner or later HD is going to run out of people waiting to hand over 20K for a trip down nostalgia lane. Jim, folks have been predicting that for 15 yrs now. Gotta remember tho that Harley sells what? 270,000 or so bikes a yr. And how many people live in the just this country, 300 million or so. Thats less than 1 tenth of 1 percent of the population buying a new Harley every year. There is still a vast untapped customer base they could draw from. >>>The future of BRAG, and even Buell, appears shaky right now. I don't have time to do the intergument now, but put me on record as disagreeing with that statement. If Buell had been put on "get it right" notice by HONDA, they would, by virture of the documented numbers coming in on the XB platform, have excelled beyond belief. Things are quite well. Court |

Dyna: You are right. I've been pretty lukewarm on the current B.R.A.G. iteration simply in that it doesn't fit my personal bill of providing the sorts of things I use and enjoy. I think B.R.A.G., as we know it, is finite and frankly Leslie was a lame duck from the git-go. I'd like to see it reincarnated per a 1995 plan but I see that as roughly about 7 paces behind the snowball in hell. In terms of Buell, I offered to bet the most skeptical of skeptics a while back. If Buell is here in 5 years he signs his title over to me, if they go under in the next 5 years, I sign mine over to him. End of conversation, not unlike the "it'd never make it around the USA" in 1995. Court |

Divergent convergency is the protocol of the internet discussion site. Give it another 10-50 posts and it will cycle back around to the original topic. 'tis the nature of the game. It 'tis. |

I have some ideas on how it could improved upon & possibly even help sales which after all is the bottom line. But I dont have time right now, gotta get rdy for work. Hopefully I will have time tonite to write them all down.

Well hopefully we can get the new Brag person out to our 5th Annivesary of Americansportbikenight this december. the most consistent, longest running, most attended buell group of enthusiasts in the world. How was that. Vallejo, Terry Parsley, is the Brag person at Vallejo. He is going to take up the ball and run with it (Brag) in the bay area. they are basically the only Brag chapter in the whole bay area. We had talked about a regional brag group in the bay area, since the other dealers will not take up the ball and get chapters formed, but we cannot do that....so American Sport BikeN will continue to meet each month, and Brag, Terry Parsley will always have a place on the podium to cover brag events in the Bay area. Fremont Buell, Vallejo Buell, Modesto Buell, and Mcguires, walnut creek help us every meeting. thanks, REX |

Yeah, this Fuell was the BadWeb Special Edition. You know, in that vein, we should really suggest to Fuell that they run an article on this site. BadWeb certainly deserves it - there is no better online resource for Buellers, period. Great job, Blake. Bryan (Message edited by darthane on May 22, 2003, %time) |

Concerning the HD 100th update in Fuell, looks like I get to go back down to the factory on August 30th for a freebie, music, ice cream and a handshake. Will be sure to let y'all know what the freebie was that you missed out on by not hanging around another week. Additionally, am looking forward to hooking up with the event at the Washington County Fair Grounds. You know, assume the usual...No Buell vendors, no chicks that dig Buells, guys that keep telling the story about how they just can't fit on or be comfortable on a Buell (and they are talking about the Tubers), etc. Should be a gas. I'll post a pic of my hospital bill. The inverse is that both locations are real close to some of the best sport riding roads we have in this part of the State. Ergo, they will make great meeting points for anyone sticking around!!! Brew City BRAG just did a ride last Sunday that covered both areas and I will be more than happy to email the route sheets to anyone interested. Just ping me and get your own South Eastern Wisconsin Map. FYI, the back side of the Milwaukee map from AAA covers the area well. |

First of all what I say on this or any other website is not a direct reflection of H-D or Buell. I am just pissed off about BRAG. Secondly, I am unsure of what you mean by lame duck, but Leslie spent the last five years putting together a decent club that cared about Buell riders. Perhaps you care to explain or clarify Court? Dyna, you are just an instagating loudmouth POS! Do ya do anything but complain seem to be pretty good at riding why not get off the f%^ing computer and and go do something useful. P_F, Not long as a subscriber I'd say. Since this appears to be your very first posting to the site here, what exactly is it that has you so peeved about B.R.A.G.?
