UGGGGG they totally butchered my bio. PLUS I took that pic on a 25 degree day. But still that is a horrible pic. BUT no matter I am having dinner with Erik and a bunch of Michigan Buellers tonight so all is well with the world. | ||

that's cool your girl rides a buell, i've been tryin to get my wife to get a buell but she loves cruisers, she has a ninja 250 we're selling and we're going to buy a kawasaki 750 vulcan for her next week(until we can afford a sportster for her) is that newfie in the longest ride section? must be, i think he's the only buell rider in newfoundland. | ||

Spidey Update, While at Buellfest, Spidey was on Battle Trax and out "Hot Doggin" for a group of girls Standing on the side. Instead of looking into his turn, he was looking at them to see if they were watching him and he dumped it. Only suffered a broken foot peg, and a sore pride. | ||

I suppose I'd better renew my Brag membership, it expires this month. The wife just got the renewal notice in the mail the other day. I loved the opening statement...."We know you are busy riding your Buell"...LOL, dont they pay any attention to who they send that crap out to??? It got filed. | ||

I just got the "We know you're busy riding your Buell" letter in the mail today! I've been debating the past couple of months if I would renew or not. I think I'm going to go ahead and just pay the $40. I know I don't sound very enthsiastic but I'm just not that big of a "club" person. I get 10% off at St. Paul HD and I do like getting Fuell. So, I figure, what's 40 bucks? | ||

We already belong to HOG & the benefits are exactly the same. Can attend any & all functions, etc ,etc. Only thing is we wont get Fuell but they get a mess of copies in at all of the local dealers. Doesnt make sense to pay $40 for a magazine that I can get for free. Plus now that Leslie is gone & they have this new chick who is not very enthusiastic, why bother? According to leslies husband this new director doesnt even own a Buell even tho in Fuell she claims she does. | ||

Blake, who the hell am I badmouthing? Surely not leslie, I think she had done a great job. Leslies own husband is the one who posted on atc about the new editor of Fuell not giving a crap about Buell & actually lying about owning one. Maybe you live in some Rosey red world where everyone blows rainbows up your ass, but there are actually folks in the Mothership who dont give a rats ass about Buell & I think one of them is the new editor. | ||

I was a little embarassed by that ATC thread. I never met Leslie and haven't participated in BRAG events. Remember, I'm not a "club" person. But I read that Leslie had left BRAG and no sooner had a replacement been named and I start reading about how the replacement "lied about owning a Buell", "is not a people person", "doesn't care about Buells or Buell owners", etc. Come on guys, at least give this Peggy woman a chance to get settled in her new office before you start breaking out the tar and feathers! | ||

John & Dana,iunderstand that possibly some of the things might have blown out of proportion IF leslies husband didnt work for the mothership & if leslie didnt know this peggy. But obviously they both know the situation or else he wouldnt have typed what he did. It took quite a while to get leslies replacement, I asked the question "how do we know she was a willing replacement" maybe nobody wanted it & she was told take it or see ya? I'm working with Court at this time to get a guest speaker or two for the 20th dinner.I kinda thought about getting Peggy there to speak in behalf of BRAG and maybe find out what she may have instore for us (BRAG members)in the near and far future.You know maybe put her on the HOT seat. | ||

But I think we should wait and see what happens. You would think that Harley-Davidson has the financial clout to make Buell successful. But will they do it? I hope so, but I'm not positive they will. | ||
