Come on, badweb. Dave's gonna read this. What's he done for you, and how did it affect you?

Dave has been there as a wealth of knowledge, a fountain of answers and a resource which could only be only be matched by Buell, itself.

Show him you care.

Dave has been there and answered any question I've had since we've been Buell owners. When the Uly low seat was coming out, we of course wanted orange. At the time only Black seats were available. I told him we'd hold out until they started making/delivering the orange ones. Not long after that, Dave posted "Uly Low Orange Seats in stock". Of course I posted, "send us one". His response, "yours went out yesterday!" What a guy!!

That is just one of many times that Dave has come through for us! We will certainly miss him and his wealth of knowledge. I'm sure his business will soar because of his customer service and commitment to his customers.

Dave has given me decent pricing far below anything I could get out of the local stealership, has always entertained my questions with knowledgeable answers, and has even gone so far as to fax me diagrams of the solutions we talked about on more than one occasion. Thanks man.

I'm not a bowhunter, but I could always use another toy. Post your url when you get a website up and I'll buy one from you anyway (and will insist on full retail as a gesture of thanks). I do throw darts, so maybe my friends and I could covert our games to target shooting with one of Dave's fancy compound bows.

As a new guy to BadWeb and to Buell, I noticed Dave's posts everywhere, not pushing sales, but doing what he could to help. When I needed help and parts, he took his time, gave all the info I asked for and treated me like an old friend. A great way to make new friends!!
Got me thinking about hunting & my old ragged bow now.
Do you get a Buell bow bracket at a Buell place or an archery place?
Thanks Dave, and
Rotzaruck!!

After being abducted by aliens and deposited on an asteroid to die of exposure, Dave traveled to the alien's home planet, killed the alien king's elite troops and rescused me off of the asteroid just before it was pulled into the planet's gravitaional field and destroyed.

And he sold me a couple of hats.

Dave....

You're getting the immortal.... "I love you, man!!" from all of the Bad Web.

You're a good man, Dave. I'm hoping that this thread will show you just how much you are and have been appreciated.

Sometimes, that's all we want as a person. To know that we were appreciated.

You are...... You are.

It was a glummy day in August 2003. All the dealers Wisconsin had an XB on there floors. Big problem was the HD 100th was just a week or so away and none of them would sell until after the festivities of the 100th. The only one sold was a Hal's 12R that was destined to go to Jay Leno. I called Dave in Waterloo, Iowa and he said He had one. I had a trade he said no problem... he knew my bike well. He was coming my way for the 100th Anniversary. So he got the paper work ready and Drove to Racine Wisconsin to deliver the first registered XB in the state. Got a flat tire about 4 miles from my home and would you believe he pushed my new bike not to put a mile on it, to my house and did the exchange of the bikes and the paper work at my dining room table.

Ok ok stop the train back it up.lol The whole story was true except the part where he came to Wisconsin got a flat and pushed it to my house. Actually what happened was Dave set it up where his Boss at the time Doug....great guy was coming to the 100th and brought it to my home and did all the exchanges and paper work at my dining room table. Yes though its the first registered XB12 in Wisconsin. Thanks Dave,I'll never forget it. But if I ever tell this story again I like the first way I told it.

I was at Homecoming 2004 and planned on heading home Saturday evening but I learned that there was supposed to be heavy thunderstorms moving through the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. I wasn't looking forward to riding through that but had nowhere to stay Saturday night. Coolice (Mike) suggested that I ask Dave if I could stay at his place. I think Dave had just moved to Appleton around that time. I felt a little uncomfortable asking Dave because I didn't really even know him but Dave said, "Sure, no problem!" So I ended up staying at Dave's place in Appleton that Saturday night. Dave ordered a pizza and made me feel right at home. Thanks again Dave!

Daves not loosing his cool as the Big Kid rode a wheelie on the Uly demo that he brought to Iron Mtn.
I was like, How Rude!

Dealing with peons like me while making me feel like part of the community.

Then there is Kandie and Bobbie, to boot!

How cool is that!

Good Luck on your new venture, I know you will do great, it's your passion.

Thanks Daves

I'm writing this with deer blood on the back of my neck!, The Big Kid was cutting one up in the garage tonight and I bent under the thing and got dripped on!)

I only had the opportunity to deal with Dave on one occasion. He hooked me up with the parts I needed for my S3 fork rebuild. I got great help with what parts I actually needed and fast accurate service. Thanks Dave! Good luck with the new shop. When I need a bow I'll let you know. (hey that rhymes...I'm such a dork)

After an error in pricing, Dave sent me a check for the difference from his personal account. I thanked him and told him that I could not accept it.

I ordered an Alpinestars suit from him, and was pretty short on time. When the suit arrived, it had 2 left knee pucks and no right ones. He scrambled a bit and had a new set of pucks sent to me in time for my track day.

Not only has dave been one of the best Parts/Bike slingers in the buisness, he has also been a good friend to all who have meet him. For that reason, I say, thank you Dave. I will definetly still look ya up for a new bow in the future, my 55Lb draw Bear is ok but I need me a good bow just for me.

Keep that Buell sticker on the truck man.

Soon after I got my first Buell, I took it for service to Lighthouse Harley, a mere 25 miles from my house.

After getting thoroughly gang raped by the service department, I gave some real serious thought to getting rid of the bike. I just could not stand the predatory approach that most Harley dealers take towards their customers, especially Buell owners.

Then I discovered Bad Web, and shortly after that, Dave.

Happiness restored.

Shop manual and parts list arrive shortly there after. Followed by a slow but regular delivery of parts for maintenance and upgrades.

I decide I can keep the bike after all!!

There is someone out there that knows and understands. I have a friend in the business.

Not sure what I am going to do now.

I don't expect that anyone will fill Dave's shoes - his non-stop devotion to his customers is simply beyond the call of duty.

I guess I will always remember talking to him via cell phone whilst he was in his tree stand.

Dave is not the sort of fellow that can be found in the office during deer season.

He helped me get a part that I needed in the worst way, and Appleton didn't have, the very next day by referring me to another dealer.

And I do believe that he shot his limit in spite of my inopportune intervention.

Nice chap.
None finer I should say.
